Great item with so much for the price
on 2 April 2016
Now I'll say one thing. I had first read a lot of the reviews on this product before I bought it on a lightning deal for around £25. And even though there were a quite few mixed reviews I still went for it as I needed to vacuum my new car.
Let me set the scene first. My car was new, however I had broken some glass in my boot and pieces were lying around. Also I'd recently just gone to a close friend's Iranian wedding. And then after the wedding I had helped him take the extras back to his house. So there was a bit of mess in the back passenger side such as flower petals and some coloured powder I wasn't sure about!
So I turned my car on and plugged the handheld vacuum into the 12V socket in the car. This is such a big feature for me I cannot explain it in words. Not having to lug a long extension cord from my house to the car to power the vacuum - especially when you don't get a parking spot in front of your house is a big deal. And I can say yes this doesn't have the suction of a Dyson - but by God my car is now clean again! The glass in the boot was no problem - sucked up all the little pieces. The dust and flower petals in the back no problems with the correct tool - you get 2 different tools to make it easy to get all those hard spaces.
Now you have to remember it will take time and technique to get it clean so don't think it'll take 5 mins. You have to be patient and make sure you do it properly using the correct tool. And take some time to make it the best looking floor you can. Remember car carpet already makes it difficult to suck anything up as cr*p just seems to stick to it so easily.
Overall for the price I paid there's no way I can complain especially considering the amount of tools you get, the bag to store everything in and the added convenience of long cable which plugs into your car 12V socket. You have to remember you're not paying a bomb so if you're considering getting this for your car - then I'll say don't hesitate and just buy it. Or if you have the money, then spend £100 more to get something like a Dyson with stronger suction but maybe not as much convenience. Great item with so much for the price.
