This boxset brings all of the next generation star trek movies, fully remastered and beautifully displayed in a sleek slip case.
As a trekkie through and through, this purchase was purely to upgrade my collection (the boxset replaced 4 VHS and a couple DVDs) but once you rewatch these films in widescreen with 5.1 it really gives them the impact they deserve.
A must for trekkies, and a great idea for fans of jj's reboot who want to venture into the wonderful world of Star Trek.

This box set is decent value but the main thing to bear in mind is that if you buy the standard DVD box set (instead of the blu-ray version) then you're getting a limited number of extras. You get a commentary and some short discussion clips, but none of the deleted scenes or elaborate 'making-of' featurettes.

The 5th disc is largely about the 'Star Trek Experience' show that ran in a hotel in Las Vegas.

Other than that, if you just want to watch the 4 TNG films then it's fine.

if you don't already own any of the next gen movies, this is ideal for you. all the films are of a lovely quailty and are still a joy to watch.
it's jammed with extra features, some interesting, some not so good. maybe for the absolute trekkie all of the special features would be of interest, but i was bored watching a bunch of people discuss far off things that i have no clue about. i presume it's because they have very little back stage footage from the actual films.
the interviews with brent spinner (data) and the reunion of jonathan frakes (william riker) and marina sirtis (deana troi) are very interesting to watch.
a little disappointed there were no interviews with patrick stewart (captain picard) but still a very good box set. i am now planning on buying the original series movies also.

For fans of Star Trek TNG this is a must, plenty of extras including a bonus DVD and commentaries. A very well presented box set.

I have been waiting for ages for a box set like this!!....and it was worth waiting for.
All the Next Generation Movies plus some really interesting extras...Interviews etc.

Only one thing missing: deleted scenes! With so many extras included, one should expect to see them, especially on "Nemesis", but no... Otherwise a great DVD pack, not easy to come by here in Portugal, so thank you very much to Amazon!

I am a long time ST fan, bought this with the original 1-6 DVD box set and both costed me less than big 1-10 cube set which is ridiculously big and cant fit any normal shelf. This is well designed, nice looking sturdy box containing ST: TNG movies and extra DVD in slim cases which I like more than thick ones. Great sound and video, everything superb, I am very pleased.

Grab one while its cheap, well worth the money!

Box set was as expected all films are good and the delivery from the supplier was as promised, had no problems at all.

Already established as being a big fan of the Star Trek movies and tv shows, this dvd box set of the first six fims, and an additional dvd titled 'The Captain's Summit', which was absolutely great to watch, is exceptionally good value for money. Entertainment value is 100%. Received in good time and in excellent condition. I am very happy indeed and would strongly recommend to others who also enjoy sci-fi. Thank you.
