Ladies and gentlemen - may I introduce you to the most exciting guitarist since Jimi Hendrix...although their styles and roots are completely different. You know that amazing feeling you get when you hear something so incredible that you laugh out loud full of joy; kinda hold your breath for a while and a tingle shoots up your spine - well here it is. Danny Gatton could quite simply wipe the floor with any guitarist, and I don't say that lightly as my collection features hundreds of the greatest guitarists both well known and unknown. Danny's roots are in jazz, country and rockabilly but he could play absolutely anything. There is a 17 minute blues piece on this CD called 'Blues Newburg' which is beyond belief for sheer feel, style and execution. Also, just listen to the old classic
'Secret Love'and be ready to be blown away by some awesome jazz
guitar playing. The whole CD is just a rollercoaster of staggering and tasteful guitar playing - and what an amazing rhythm section. He is called the world's greatest unknown guitar player - but what known guitarist could outplay him? The world is only just beginning to hear about Danny Gatton, and I recommend that you check out all his CDs, because what you are about to hear will totally revolutionise your conception of what a guitar master/hero is all about. ENJOY AND BE AMAZED!
