I picked this album up yesterday at my local HMV (the CD+DVD version) after never hearing them (but hearing of them) before, and I instantly loved it from the first play. Evile play really good music; which means that in general, the riff to word ratio is pretty low! - However this is not a problem at all. Overall, the album is a very good length, coming in at a very respectable 63 minutes - ideal for long journeys. The album comes across as very thrash, but with more of hard rock style of vocals with solid drumming and guitar work, always a slight downer for me is lack of a noticable bass guitar...I mean, the bass was good, it just didnt stand out. I see this album as being good background music too. If you pay attention to the album, its great, but its just as good for having in the background.

Pick this album up if you're looking for good solid thrash riffs/music.

This is totally different to the first cd

it is darker
and the songs are alot lot longer
in places I think maybe too long but thats just me

there are solos and stuff too
fantastic vocals that sound a like a more melodic version of Tom Araya
yes almost like hard rock over thrash metal
i prefer the first cd even though this one has a morre original sound I think it is a very long album and quite
hard to listen too.
but if you can get over that i think it is pretty good however it is first listen to we will see in a few more listens if I find it a bit less hard to listen too it properly

it is going on my shelf next to the other evile cd

not sure what the dvd to end all dvds thing was about I will haff to watch it and find out I guess

Definatly worth a buy for some fresh new generation thrash and I always love original

so they get a 9 /10 for having an original sound and making good music but the 1 star because i can't actually remember anything form it YET

This is a cracking cd. I was impressed by Matt Drake's melodic singing and by the tasty Guitar playing of Ol Drake, surely a guitar hero in the making! This gives the band a much more original sound than on the first cd. It is great to hear a band take some chances and move their sound forward and not rest on their laurels. Favourite tracks are Genocide, Hundred Wrathful Deities, My Parasite (man this one is fast and check the cracking outro riff!)but to be honest there isn't a bad track on it. My mate Parko the Metalhead reckons this is one of the best cd's he has heard all year and this is high praise indeed. Buy this now and support a great local British band!! Can't wait to see them live supporting Amon Amarth and at Hard Rock Hell 3!!
