Leaf tea, even not so wonderful leaf tea, is always better than a paper bag full dust. I thought I would try this variety of English Breakfast loose leaf tea since it is a flowery pekoe grade. It arrived quickly, adequately packed and the end result is a really honest and enjoyable cup of tea, better than anything you are likely to find on most supermarket shelves where the real tea drinker seems to be regarded as an extinct species.

This is a beautiful clean tasting tea with a lovely colour in the cup far superior to any tea you can buy in the supermarket and the service from Simpli-Special was excellent.

I had forgotten just how good tea can taste after years of drinking tea made from teabags,i definitely wont go back to them after using English Breakfast Luxury Loose Leaf Tea 100g it's really nice,proper tasting tea albeit a bit pricey in comparison to the big stores.Would give AMAZON and SIMPLI- SPECIAL top marks on delivery.

I thought this was a bit pricey, but wanted to delight my wife on her birthday with a special breakfast - and this tea has proved a wonderful enhancement to out quality of life. Every sip is a delight. Sainsburys has lost a tea customer!

It arrived in 2 days. I had someone get ma some black tea. That one was horrible and smelled fishy. This tea smells nice and has got a nice colour.

Before buying this tea, I have never had loose leaf tea before, buy after acquiring a teapot and strainer I thought it would be worth giving it a go. The leaves look to be of very good quality and the product is nicely packaged. Upon boiling a kettle and pouring myself a good old cuppa, I tasted it. It's actually very nice! You sometimes get a foul taste with bagged teas but this one is clean and fresh; it tastes great with or without milk as well. Not as cheap as tea bags and I certainly won't be drinking this every day, but for a nice occasional treat, its well worth keeping in your cupboard.

Unfortunately I found the tea a little bitter and not as I expected. just a matter of taste. I hoped it would be smooth.

As with any leaf tea this is automatically more pleasant than any teabag but it also stands out against any other English breakfast. The leaves are of a high quality and are not crushed down to almost powder like form as with the common low quality English teas. This really stands out as a top class English breakfast, and despite the name I can drink this all through a day!

it is better than your bagged tea, but not excellent, definitely not Luxury as described :) Leaves are not whole but cut, and you may find odd twigs in it which is not acceptable for a luxury tea. Overall is ok, but could be better.
