good for kids if they can read
my daughter is five and she loves this game, you design your own animals, then you get stars for looking after them. You can then spend the stars you earnon new animals or playsets for them. its got quite a lot to do for a childrens game and I found it really good value for money, the downside (as mentioned in another review) is that there is some reading involved,...

Nice game, wrong age suggestion on it.
We bought this for our 4 year old daughter, after all the success we have had with the Dora ice princess and Disney think fast games. Both of these games work very well for a 4 year old and she loves playing them. The age certificate of 3 and the subject matter made this game seem like a great idea. Sadly, you need to be able to read if you want to play the game. So if...

An excellent game for children and adults. My granddaughter is 5 and she loves it but it can take patience to get to some of the scoring/ playing levels for children of this age.

Both of these games work very well for a 4 year old and she loves playing them. The age certificate of 3 and the subject matter made this game seem like a great idea. Sadly, you need to be able to read if you want to play the game. So if you don't have a 3 year old who can read, and who does, don't try this game for a few years. It is good fun to play and your child will probably enjoy watching, but there are better games out there that they could play themselves. Great game for older kids, just not suitable for pre-reading age.

I would say that this game is not suitable for kids over 7 years old, my 10 year old daughter finds this too boring.

Good game for young children., 1 Dec 2011

My children aged 8 and 5 have really enjoyed this game. It is easy to play and they have loved building up their animal collections. They play this well together as it is a very calm relaxing game to play. They have had it for nearly a year and still play it sometimes. I think it would be a bit slow and boring for older gamers though, but great for little ones.

THIS GAME IS ALLRIGHT BECAUSE YOU START OFF WITH NO ANIMALS SO IT IS REALLY HARD TO GET YOUR 1ST ANIMAL BUT WHEN YOU DO THE GAME IS OVER WITHIN MINUTES.
