The film is a nice wrap up of how far we've come since the beginning of modern surfing. Nice stories from a number of generations who have experienced different waves with different styles and technology, each as fulfilling as the last.

Even if you have no interest in surfing this is a remarkable story about the origins of the sport. Shot on 35m, the cinematography is truly jaw dropping and when you think of the shooting conditions even more remarkable that the imagery is so stunning.
A real find.....go watch it.

Good value surf flick based on Ireland. Nice to see one about the cold waters of the Atlantic rather than the usual sun and warm water of Hawaii, Oz, Indo etc. The Malloys are always great value. Really enjoyed it ansd comes recommended.

A must for all surfers and folks who love the ocean.Nice Irish twist to surfing. I live on the NW coast of Ireland and its becoming the hot bed of large wave surfing for the world.

I really enjoyed this film. Contains amazing footage of waves in Ireland. Good sound track and entertaining interviews with local amateur surfers and international pro surfers.

Interesting telling of the history of surfing and well worth the watch even if you are not into surfing to see how it all came about.

Brought this for my surf mad husband - easy watching, wave action is daring and good but documentary quality is nowhere near Riding Giants ............ however, Ireland has the waves, the scenery and an established future for surfing .........this film makes that quite clear!
