I am rather disappointed. I should have known given the low price of this item. I connected my Dell Vostro laptop with my Sony Bravia TV. It identified the picture immediately but unfortunately there is a horrible flickering problem with the TV monitor.

I purchased another cable and the problem was solved! I would not recommend this product. You would spend money on postage for a product that it is not good.

ALSO note that the photo on the Amazon web site is deceiving as this IS NOT A GOLD PLATED PRODUCT.

I needed to connect a VGA monitor to my laptop because the screen was busted.
I received the cable within 48 of placing the order. The item cost a fraction of top brand equivalents and did the job perfectly. I plug it in and unplug it everyday and never had a problem. Amazing good value for money. I was impressed also by the quality of the service. Thank you!

I purchased this product fully understanding that it would not be of high quality because of its price, but knew it would do the job.

The first time I tried to remove this cable from the back of my (expensive) LCD TV, the locking screws broke and I soon realised I should have spent more money, and was facing the upsetting prospect of having to take my TV in for repair. All because of a cheaply made cable

Ontop of this I had already tried to cancel the order, and had found the company who are selling the item very hard to get a response from.

My advice would be to spend a little more for a higher quality product and not risk the more expensive items you are using this cable with.

I bought this after reading some of the good reviews featured on this page thinking that this had a possibility to work for quite an attractive price...
Received it and the quality is so on and off its unbelievable, such a terrible quality, doesn't connect properly to either of the connectors.
Would definitely not buy again.

Don't waste your money on this, it works when it wants to work.

arrived pretty quick, excellent cable, works just as good as one a bought for £15.00+vat, sent my others back as this one worked just as well, so cheaper option is always better :-)

This item did exactly what I needed. The only problem (if you can call it that) is that the lead itself isnt very long so I could not take my laptop to chair so that I could do my stuff. If the lead was about 3-5m it would have been much better for me. The photos on the tv were much better than on small screen so I used it as a digital photo frame. Brilliant. Now if I could just get a longer lead I would be in heaven.

considering the much higher price of this lead in some other retail outlets it seemed too good to be true but the order arrived quickly and worked without any problems - connecting our sons rather old laptop to a new 21" LCD TV, A good buy for us.

Came very quickly, just what the doctor ordered, first rate and inexpensive, does the job.

"Arrived well packaged, and before estimated date. Good Price for a decent cable, at 5M long. You may want to check BOTH ENDS of the cable to ensure no pins are BENT! They will break at the bend if straightened, (I used a very thin screwdriver to try and prise, 3 on each end, straight) but luckily that 6 half broken pins did not affect the cables performance for me.
Returning item would have been a drag, and seeing as it worked after the pins broke, it didnt matter... Just as well eh?
One off Production line fault?" 1 star removed only because of those bent pins.

Cheap and Not So Cheerful. Wanted it to connect Laptop with busted screen to my monitor thru VGA Switch. No Signal.
What a waste of money. DON'T BUY
