Omid's second live DVD, filmed at the Hammersmith Odeon in 2009. Once again he takes a humorous look at the clash between Eastern and Western culture, with a healthy dose of disdain for the insanities of fundamentalism of all stripes. He combines this with a great talent for physical humour (yes, he does dance!) and a real talent for accents of the world to produce ninety minutes of great comedy.

Much more consistent than his first DVD, No Agenda, this is an absolutely first class evening of stand up, five stars.

If, like me, you enjoy the work of this very funny and interesting man, Omid Djalili, then you will love this DVD. As an actor he is funny, as a stage presence he is very funny and most entertaining. He says what he says, has interesting viewpoints of different things - political, religious but never offensive. He interacts with the audience well, in this instance I loved the football jokes and repartee, plus his efforts in trying to cheer up a man whose wife had recently left him. The best bit, of course, is the dancing at the very end of the show. With his 'Village People' like ensemble of dancers and himself, a British/Iranian man dancing an Irish jig - sublime...

Omid Djalili is nothing short of brilliant in his new DVD. I started to watch it for a bit of light entertainment and nearly fell off my sofa laughing. Seriously side-splitting hilarious stuff! It is a must have Xmas gift and will continue to lift your spirits well into the new year.

Having watched his TV show and seen him on a couple of other things I bought this DVD with high expectations - and was not disappointed! Truly funny comedian - I was laughing throughout! Will definately try and catch him live next year

Having watched this comedian on TV recently, and having heard his radio adverts every day and having owned "No Agenda" dvd i thought i'd give this new dvd a whirl.
Mr Omid Djalill is like Billy Connolly - he has great stage presence; but unlike Billy Connolly Omid is not funny.
He shouts, screams and he even changes his accent and yet he does not help me to enjoy a good old belly laugh.

Both his dvd's contain alot of material related to the middle east and their 'funny' ways. The other sketches are jokes aimed at British culture, and he just repeats that pattern ad nauseum...
Its bizarre. He does not have any funny jokes and yet he sells out venues all over the UK.

A poor DVD offering. Djalili seems burnt out (or at least his material does) in this latest DVD release. The 'Iranian Stand-Up' routine earned him a sizeable reputation as a stand up, even if its subject matter was a dubiously borderline stereotype. This DVD lets us know that what you see is what you get... Or in this case, got: In the last DVD.

Nothing new here, really.
