Having recently purchased a Garmin 265wt (Halfords were the least expensive!), i found that the next most important accessory was a protective case. These vary hugely in price and quality and this one appearing on Amazon was accurately described and at a very keen price, Ordered on Sat evening, it arrived on Tuesday morning and it is perfect! The satnav fits snugly. If all things in life were as straight-forward! TJ

Nuvi 1340 fits perfectly but when it`s advertised as leather and costing what it did i can`t help but be disappointed.Damn those plastic cows.

Was pleasantly suprised that the case was of such high quality. The look, feel, touch is top notch. The quality of the leather is impressive for a case like this. I had a Garmin supplied OEM case for my Nuvi 350 and a Garmin OEM case for my Nuvi 1350 (for the second car) and the Navitech case is just a better quality case - no contest. This is the case that Garmin should provide for a high quality flagship product like the 1490T. Would highly recommend the Navitech case over the Garmin OEM case. Very satisfied!

I bought this leather case for my Garmin 1490t sat nav. The sat nav fits in it nice and snug and does not fall out so protects quiet well. This leather case is much cheaper than the Garmin one and does just as good a job, it is also easy to remove the sat nav from this case when you need to use it. For value for money this is definitely the case to protect your Garmin 1490t which has the 5" screen. Only downfall I can see is no protection on one edge which is not a problem.

The case arrived very fast, and fitted my nuvi 1310 perfectly. The material feels like real leather. Both of the sides are stiff to protect the screen etc from impacts.

The case does what it says it should but after being used only for a month or so, the sat nav can slip out of the case if it is picked up upside down.

I got this case after I tried a universal case that was a poor fit. This is excellent. It's made to measure & provides a good degree of protection

Just right, looks smart, does what it says on the tin. Fits snuggly and a bit fiddly to remove the Tomtom from the case at first but that's a minor inconvenience given the price and looks. If you want to carry the mount and charger etc.. with your satnav this is not for you, better buy a small camera carry case or similar

I read the other reviews and had concerns about the chunky massive cable..but no its substantive/robust but not the monster I envisaged.
'Gabby' herself (Yes, Gabby Garmin) easy to use easy to follow and the setting up of updates on the Garmin site is very easy. Its a nice neat size and fits well into its suction holder for traveling. The extras that can be down loaded from the garmin site are good, fun things like different icons for on your screen and different languages (including Yeti a good laugh but totally mumbo jumbo). I found the delay prediction very good when on a long journey and heading for the M25, the figures went up and down as the accidents happend and were cleared.
I have no issues with this and feel its a good price for the package you get.
