updated this review after 3 months playing this it was I think.

Bought for my 8 year olds birthday in October and she loved them with house, garage and all 4 hamsters. 2 year old sister really likes them too and wants to play but we keep out her reach because shes already broke 2 hamsters who now dont move as she tries to push them along like a car and they need to go on their own. The wheels come packaged with the bendy wires right thru which make it extremely difficult to remove and we needed to pull free with plyers. After all the stuff had for xmas even though they were the must haves, shes not played with at all and now 2 year old plays with them so they probably wont last long before get broken.

Verdict; not suitable for the small kids who will love them but older kids will get bored very quickly

Another fad, which I fell for hook line and sinker. Just glad I managed to buy at RRP and not the inflated prices I saw.

My daughter kept going on about these hamsters, and after searching everywhere, finally got one in stock at Amazon. The hamster runs about, stops, changes direction, all the time making noises as he runs. My daughter finds this hilarious and keeps her happy for ages. When she picks it up, she presses his head and he goes into cuddle mode, whereby he stops moving and starts making noises every few minutes.

The cats find it amusing as well, using it as practice for their nightly mouse hunt outside. All am waiting for now is the house and bed to become available at Amazon.

My 6 year old daughter bought one of these and loves it. Will moves around at random when put on a hard surface, makes weird and funny noises and backs up when it bumps its nose. The kids had much fun when it dissapeared under the sofa making strange noises only to reappear shortly after from a different location. Has a cuddle mode so it just makes noises and doesnt try and move. Not cheap but well thought through toy, seems pretty robust. If you dont have hard floors I guess the accesories would be a must to get the nmost out of it. On a hard surface it is fun on its own.

This has to be the top toy of the year, the're No.1 in the US.
Absolutely hilarious for kids, dogs, cats and adults too. One is funny, two together are manic. I was in tears watching them run around, especially with the cat chasing after - haven't had so much fun since Tickle me Elmo. I'll grow up one day no doubt, but until then they're on my wish list!

I had read all the hype for go go pets months ago and ordered one as soon as it was released. I received it and put it away for my daughters birthday last week. We have a dog and 2 cats and hoover everyday but the hamster soon got clogged with pet hair and the motor has burnt out. A complete waste of money (although she loved it) and to top it off the accessories for it were part of her Christmas present but I refuse to pay these prices for the hamster!

There was so much hype surrounding these little hamsters I wanted to get hold of one for my 3 year old son. I was lucky and bought mine from Amazon for under the RRP with free delivery. We recieved Num Nums the grey hamster. My son hadn't asked for this but as soon as he spotted it he got excited. Removing it from the package is a bit of nightmare with an over excited child stood at your side the ties are really difficult to remove and I was worried I was going to damage the hamster but I did manage in the end.
It is simple to operate press the nose for various sounds or the head or press it back and put it on the floor to get it to run around. I feel the manufactors claims of them been realistic is slightly miss leading have you ever heard a hamster moo or sound like a car horn well Num Nums does. It is very random but my son loves it.
He is chuffed to bits with Num Nums he follows him, laughs at the noises and uses his imagination creating tunnels for him to go through with his legs. It is very amusing to watch the hamster run over to my baby son on the floor he laughs and laughs at this crazy hamster. Over all it is fun I wont bother trying to get hold of the other bits which seems almost impossible at the moment. Hopefully in the new year stock will arrive and I'll see if my son is still showing any interest in the hamster by then. As an adult I feel even at the RRP price it is over priced so I feel so sorry for anyone who has paid silly money for them.

They are fun and have some advantages over real hamsters as they don't poo, need cleaning out or die.

My 5 year old daughter bought one of the hamsters with her birthday money and loves it, she cuddles it carries it and gets her 3 year old brother chasing it! Best thing is you don't need to feed it or clean up after it, a first for our house :)

She now wants all the accessories which unfortunatly seem to cost at least twice as much as the hamster :(

I bought this product for my two little sisters as they were desperate to have them for christmas... didn't realise the whole family had the same idea so they ended up with 3 each!!. They love them to bits and all the playsets and even i think they are amazing toys... especially seeing my mum trying to get them out the packets when the wheels on them were moving and it went racinig across the carpet!!

Also one of the hamsters has survived swimming in water.. my little sister had the 'great' idea of filling the playhouse with water and then putting her hamsters in!! We had to take them apart, dry them out, and puit new batteries in... but

IT WORKS!!! I'm not saying it will work in every instance but it did in this one...

So definately worth buying!!!

I bought this hamster hoping to give it to my nephew for Christmas. The product itself looks good although it hasn't been tested yet - but the downfall to this was the packaging as the box arrived all crushed. Would probably suggest that this be looked into as i can imagine lots of other people will be ordering for the same purpose ie, christmas present. All it really neeeded was to be bubble wrapped and put in a proper jiffy bag but instead it was done on the cheap side and i ended up with a crushed box which looks shoddy and ready for the bin - the worst packaging ever ! Not a good experience.

Bought by grandparents for Christmas presents for 6 and 10 year old girls - played with them for 10 mins and haven't been used since - boring is too exciting a word for these toys!!
