I will mention here that we have a Doctor Who version of this night-light/torch which is identical in style and function but just has a different design. We have had a great experience with ours and the orange and black design is pretty funky as an added bonus. In fact, we like it so much that we have three different styles of the same torch and all have worked brilliantly for at least three years - and have been pretty much constantly in use.
My six year old has been into Doctor Who for over four years and this was ideal for her. It must be pretty robust as it has survived several drops, attempts to take it apart and the arrival of her marauding baby brother! The charge seems to last for ages and the night-light aspect has been really useful - even if the torch has often been used for surreptitious after-hours reading.

All in all this product comes highly recommended by our family and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one - although the quality means I probably won't ever have to!

Light exactly as described, superb for Ben 10 fans and just enough light not to bright and not to dark.

my freinds little boy loves this lite great 4 going to the toliet in the nite as hes only 4 without having a big light one great little torch.

This is excellent as a night light and excellent as a torch for my child to play with, plus its recharchable too which is a plus

This is a great item when used as a night light. The light is quite bright and the battery lasts quite a long time. It comes with 4 disks to project hero shadows on the wall or leave the disks out and use as a flashlight. It has made bed time more fun for my boys (3 & 5).

This toy looks really good the characters on it are really good. The button to switch it on and off offten sticks. The idea of it is good but it isn't the best quality.

bought this as xmas pressie for my nephew and very pleased with it. Good quality, useful and great fun!

So far so good but obviously it's early days for durability. However in term s of excitement, then this toy has filled it's criteria

I was searching for a Christmas present for my 5 year old grandson, an avid Ben 10 fan. There were so many items to choose from, but judging by his reaction when I showed him the 3 options (torch, nightlight, slide projector), I made the right choice. He particularly likes switching the lights off in order to show us the different "aliens"!!

This is a great lamp/torch my son got it for his birthday and loves it, especially as it comes with slides which project the alien images on the wall when used as a torch. I like the fact that the projection slides come on a ring so they won't get lost!
