I saw this fim on SKY and found myself watching it (mainly because of Jennifer Anniston). I was that impressed with it, i bought the DVD immediately after watching it on TV. I had not previously heard of the film but i was very pleasantly surprised. It's a bit of an indie-type film and certainly was not made on a massive budget. However the performances of Ms Anniston and her fellow lead actor are excellent and there is funny, quirky and touching chemistry between the two. Good performances all round, quirky and more than a few funny moments throughout. Given the bargain price this movie is available at, this is well worth investigating.

Jennifer Aniston and Steve Zahn are reunited from co-starring together in "Friends" to appear in this romantic comedy about two lost people trying to find what they need in the World.

Mike, an employee of The Kingman Motor Inn motel and son of the owners, falls in love at first sight with a pretty but plain travelling sales woman who is a guest at the motel. Despite his desperate and awkward attempts at wooing her with complimentary wine and champagne, his efforts are always foiled and Sue seems reluctant to have anything to do with him.

So in love and obsessed with Sue, Mike uses all the money he's saved to buy a ticket to her home town to be with her, only Sue is as aloof and unconvinced as before and tries to shake him off. Mike, determined they should be together, begins to stalk the woman with the hope that one day she is going to fall in love with him.

It offers a promising premise, but the truth is, there's something oddly creepy and not romantic at all about the way that Zahn's character Mike stalks Jennifer Aniston's character Sue all the way through the movie, hiding in bushes with binoclears and all the rest. Although this is a romantic comedy, there's rarely a true "laugh out loud" moment to be had, which is sad considering Zahn is gifted with exceptional comedic timing and has a talent for turning a funny line. Again, as a romantic comedy, you'd expect some heart-warming romance to be hidden amongst the storyline, but truly, Aniston fails to pull off the emotions of a woman torn between what she thinks she wants and needs, and a woman who truly doesn't know her heart, and Zahn comes off as a child-like naive young man who doesn't understand love at all - both performances hurt the movie a great deal rather than save it.

Vaguely, this is just a story about two people and the things that happen in their romantic lives, and fails to capture the heart or laughs of the audience. Truly wouldn't recommend this unless you're a die hard fan of either actor.

I love romantic comedies. I'm constantly hunting for more.
I mean, don't mind watching the same concept all over again as long as the story has something special.

Honestly, this one was really disappointing from beginning to end. One of the most rubbish movies I've ever seen.
The scenarios are a disgrace, you don't get an insight of the characters.
And you just don't get a chance to get involved in the movie.

Bottom line: The movie is bland, boring, weak and completely unrealistic (Who in the world would fall in love with someone by the moment they see them for the first time AND from the back?!).

P.S.: Came on! "Jennifer Aniston gives the best performance of her career"?! You've just got to be kidding!
What about "Marley & Me", "Bruce All Mighty" and "Rockstar"?? Those were good performances and great movies.
If this was the first movie I'd seen with her I'd never want to see anymore.

a simple act of being allowed to touch ones buttocks results in a romantic chase across the country...which involves having to endure bashing..seeing your love obssesion get married and finally scoring when she is pregnant with your rivals child...hilarious
