I have another Sony compact so knew when purchasing this camera for my sister the Cyber-Shot DSCW180 would be a quality camera and it is. Excellent build, great photo's and easy to use. This is not intended for the serious photographer who wants the ability to produce professional quality blow-ups. I feel this camera is aimed at amateurs and those that just want high quality snaps that will display well on pc's or print to enlargements. This camera fits the bill perfectly.

As a total novice in the camera world this product is excellent and very good value for money.

I bought this Camera to take away on holiday this year. Its small and compact enough to fit in your pocket or hand bag. It has a large viewing screen. Simple and easy to use. Easy to link to PC with the USB cable. The only bad thing I have found is that you have to take the battery out of the camera to charge it. Also remember to order a Sony memory stick as this camera does not use SD memory cards. Its very good value for money being a Sony Cyber shot

Brought an earier model cybershot about 6 years ago, and had no problems. This model does what it says on the box, and being Sony it's good quality. Brought it for the missus to take "snaps" as it's easy to use, and pop in her handbag (or in my pocket on a couple of occasions) I'd still use my Canon EOS with obviously a better lens for some photos, but still handy to have the Cybershot as a backup.

Good looking camera - easy to use and it has given us some great pictures in Disney. Light and easy to pack which was essential! Highly rated.

Bought for my son, so I can't comment on its usability, but he says its great! The pictures are really good and clear. It feels like it is solid and well built. I will be buying one for myself I think.

My previous camera was a Sony which I had for several years and could not fault.It was only when the camera was dropped that it started to malfuntionl and the cost of a repair was not practical that I decided it was time for a replacement.I didn't look any further than Sony, one because I was aware of my previous cameras performance and two I still had several sony memory sticks which are compatible.I have only just received the camera and still experimenting, but results so far are good.The only negative comment I would make is that the build quality is inferior to my previous Sony.My first camera order arrived faulty but it was collected free of charge by Amazon and I was sent a replacement by return usings a 1st class Royal Mail service.Five stars to Amazon for there service and would not hesitate to use them again.
