Works as storage only...,

I ordered this early this year hoping to add the functionality and speed of an SSD without the cost.
It works fine as storage but there is no way you can boot or use it for readyboost etc. I do have my pagefile running on this device. Mac OS users will have far more uses for it. In the end it hasn't fulfilled the role I hoped for it. I've since added a 7200.4 to my laptop which comes pretty close to this SSD's speed anyway at less than half the cost. For the same price you could get a Momentus XT with 500gig. |
