I've used this only a couple of times since I've owned it. I don't bother greasing the tin, which would be a bit fiddly to do anyway and I find I have to run a knife around all the edges to release the brownies but this doesn't take long especially if this is done whilst they're still warm.
I like that there are handles on the tray section of the tin so it can be easily removed for cooling. The brownies always come out well and are still chewy in the middle. I wouldn't say the item is particularly difficult to clean, baked cake mixture comes off easily once soaked for a minute of two anyway but obviously there are three parts to it so more washing up than if you used a normal tin - but you can't have everything! By no means perfect but a handy tin to have.
This is the second of these pans I've bought so that I can do two batches of brownies at once. It's an excellent product and, at the time of purchase, this was the cheapest place to buy it by far. It saves you having to cut the brownies yourself and avoids big variations in the size of brownies (useful if you're doing these for a bake sale). The brownies do come out quite big - my recipe says it should make 12, but I haven't had any complaints about this! Would highly recommend.
This pan is very easy to use and to clean. I have cooked dozens of brownies in it for the fairs and markets I attend. They give a nice uniform size and even bake every time and its easy to clean up each time (I hand wash mine). The only slightly fiddly bit is greasing it before use, but this only takes a couple of minutes with a brush.
