The concept for this toy is great but we've played it twice and would not rate it toy of the year 2009. The first time we played on the carpet so thought this might have played a factor in the toy not working according to instructions but we've since played at the table and the same thing happened. Even once Peppa Pig has stopped spinning the music still continues as if she is still moving, admittedly this does not happen with every spin but more often than not. Maybe this problem will be rectified after a few plays with it,I don't wish to be negative however this has been our experince.

This game is incredibly cute and funny! Me and my kids both love it, personally I think its really helped the memory's of all of us and is great for brain development. Its simple to play and understand and I think it is great value for money! And finally I love the way Peppa says 'goodbye' when you switch her off!

Bought this for my two daughters, also as a family game. My five year old loves playing, and completely understands the rules. My one, very nearly two year old just likes to play with the spinning Peppa toy haha Which is what any one - two year old would want to do really. But my two year old hates being left out, so we try to work around it. Very good game though :o)

The rules of the game are pretty simple to grasp, even for very young children. It's relatively easy for little ones to play, but that's not to say it isn't challenging. It's an enjoyable game that keeps my 3 year old daughter engaged - infact I'm usually the first one that's ready to pack the game away! When you spin Peppa the Peppa Pig theme tune plays and Peppa chuckles "Hee hee! Faster faster! Weee! This is fun!" which my daughter finds hilarious. Plus when you switch the electronic spinner on Peppa says "I'm Peppa Pig" and when you switch it off she says "Bye bye" which is very cute. I like the fact they have used Peppa's real voice. This game is not only fun, but is educational too. It's great for building memory skills and can also improve communication and social skills (naming the cards out loud, playing with others and learning to take turns). If the child doesn't concentrate and use their memory, they won't win the game - therefore my daughter has her eyes glued to the game whilst playing! The game can last quite a long time if you use all 24 cards, however you can shorten the game by removing cards which neither player has chosen - handy if you don't have much time on your hands or if your child is running low on patience! I recommend this game to all Peppa fans that are between the ages of 3-5 years - any younger and this game may be too challenging, any older and this game may be too easy/boring.

bought this game for our 'Peppa' addicted 3 1/2 year old daughter. It's a cute game, it's funny and she loves it when Peppa says 'faster faster'. But she also gets a little bit angry and upset while playing it, because a lot of times Peppa doesn't speak, even though she spins her around as fast as a 3 1/2 year old can. Even when we spin Peppa around she doesn't always speak. And the little friends labels you stick in the sides of the game fall out when you spin too fast. Also those labels are small and easy to loose/break. The box will not survive for very long either, i'm afraid. Don't think it's worth the title 'game of the year', but we do like to play it, it's fun. To start with our daughter didn't get it that even though she spinned Peppa around, it could be somebody else actually winning a card, but after a few games the rules became clear. Don't think i would buy this game for a competitive child or a child that is distracted easily, because it might take a while before they can turn a card...it all depends on if Peppa stops in front of you. And if Peppa says so, you even have to give one of your cards back. But then again, it's a good thing to learn to be patient and honest i guess. Not sure if it's more educational then a regular memory game, but it is nice to have some variety and a happy Peppa-holic in the house.

Sadly on giving this lovely gift (supposedly award winning) we discovered that Peppa would only do the hello and goodbye speaking... and ONLY when turning the voiceactivated box upside down would the music played. Like one of your other reviewers we tried new batteries etc. My poor god-daugher was so excited I had brought her a present and I was thoroughly ashamed of the poor quality. In addition to that Amazon do not have an option for seller feedback on this order... please heed my comments, this game does not work, there is something wrong with the music mechanism and it is poor quality.

This is a brilliant game! I play this quite often with my 3-year-old & my 6-year-old & both love it. They're always trying to out-do each other by being the first to get all 6 of their cards! I was quite surprised at how good their memory was in comparison to mine (I'm only 26). They love the fact that they get to spin peppa & that she tells them what to do. It's always disappointing to get 'close your eyes' which means that another player has to put one of your won cards back without you looking so you can't find it. I think it's a great game & although it is repetitive, they have not got bored with it...yet!

Bought for my Peppa mad 3 yr old. A fun game of matching pairs with a difference. Twisting Peppa was a little tricky at first for my daughter. Good sound effects. Cardboard markers quite flimsy and don't stay in place well.

The spinning of peppa is very fun, however my 3 year old could not spin peppa with enough force to make her speakPeppa took a long time to stop spinning, and if you add up all these spins it makes the game very long Peppa tells the other players to hide one of your cards sometimes, this adds a great bit of excitement to the game and makes it a little more different to other memory games. We play with half the number of cards to find as we find that the game takes too long and the kids loose interest if all of the cards are used, especially if there are more than 2 players. Overall a nice game for peppa pig fans, but be prepared to help spin peppa lots of times, and reduce the number of cards that you are trying to find.
