A murder every minute or two..
on 12 January 2012
Disturbed would be a good word for this, as the main character is loonier than a lone nut in a bar of chocolate. The first murder scene is a little bit swoop, kill, what the hell happened in that scene did I miss something? The same chaotic thread continues throughout the book. The fact that it pinpoints a serious problem with pharmaceutical companies and what they are willing to do to get dangerous drugs approved and marketed, is a good concept. The drug in this book shows how humans wanting to test their limits, always ends up with us being shown them quite forcefully. I thought it was quite B movie in parts, especially the scene between Bill and Theena in Manny's room, that was just juvenile male fantasy.
