Well worth every single penny ,just everything you expect from Toshiba amazing quality picture .Delivered to my sittingroom by a very pleasant delivery man.
Great value ,much cheaper than any high street store ,delighted with the tv and the excellent service from Amazon.My 1st electrical purchase but not the last.

After countless hours of reading reviews for this 46inch throbber and surfing the web for even more opinions I still felt uneasy about purchasing a big lcd... I finally clicked on the buy button with Amazon....ok...I then had a sleepless night fretting about my decision but by the time I woke up it was too late....the monster duly arrived and with trembling hands and trepidation I proceded to set it up....powered up...and hated it.....the picture quality was poor and the size of the telly was disturbing...it was a sheet of black glass looking like that monolith from 2001 a space odyssey....a few days later and my feelings remained the same....but then it all changed....first of all I hooked it up to my Bluray player and suddenly the WOW factor kicked in ...what a PICTURE...I could see the individual hairs up a rhinos nose..this is what i had been looking for...next...i had Sky+HD installed and now the rest is history...if in doubt dont be...buy this telly,get sky hd and a bluray...you will be amazed and love will follow...i now call the telly Reggie...sad but true.....go on ...get one..you know it makes sense.

Very impressed with this Item. After searching through the internet for days trying to find a good deal on a TV with good reviews, came across this on Amazon. Well, let me tell you, worth every penny of £700! Was delivered quickly, easy to install, great sound/view options and freeview has a good picture. Its very smart looking and very easy to use. Would advise to avoid confusion (like we had) to plug your sky into scart 1 and dvd/video into scart 2. took us ages to figure this out as we had used 1 scart for both on the old tv!! Overall, brilliant TV and definitely recommend it.

Great picture even on Freeview, the Resolution+ does a good job at adding an extra level on definition. With DVDs it's even better. Have yet to try it with an HD source but to be honest with the high level of performance from DVDs I'm not about to go and buy a Bluray player. Options for tweaking picture and sounds are exhaustive but the menus are easily navigated (full manual is available online, but the TV ships with a simplified guide which is good enough to get started). It looks the part as well in its elegant black case. Sound is good although speakers can get a bit rattly if you push too much volume through them, not an issue for me as I use a separate sound system. All in all I'm delighted.

Very nice picture , loads of inputs, no dead pixels, case scratches quite easily,sound quality ok.

Pretty good, smart, some nice features with the USB and SD inputs which are brilliant for viewing those "holiday" and day to day photo's which are displayed with amazing clarity.
The set claims to be economical but I must admit we have had to use the house central heating more since we removed the old Plasma set. Save on electric, use more gas.
The sound is noticeably different with it having internal speakers rather than external speakers. It sometimes sounds a bit hollow but there is a menu for the bass/treble which helps. Lets hope it lasts as long as the Plasma did (6 years)

I would like to thank Amazon for amazing prompt delivery, far quicker than originally anticipated. The tv is installed, and as it was for my son , his opinion is that it is amazing, with a fabulous picture quality. Well worth the cost.

this is a great tv. good quality and good looking. the sound in this tv is reasonable but nothing more than that. if you're going to watch films with it you'd probably feel the need for a bit more depth in the sound at some point. it is still a legitimate owner of the 5 stars ranking i gave it.

Firstly, this is a great TV, theres no denying it! Researched a lot of sets before plumping for this one and wasn't disappointed with the picture quality and connectivity. Sound isn't it's strong point but it does the job! Can't really add anymore to the reviews already posted, but one thing thats knocked my rating down to 3 is the fact that my first set became faulty after just 4 months. The main ON/OFF switch wouldn't click and so therefor remained in the ON position, could only knock it into STANDBY via the remote. Contacted Amazon and have to say, couldn't fault them whatsoever! Replaced the set within 3 days and collected the faulty one the next day after the replacement arrived! 8 months down the line and the 2nd set is now suffering the same problem, only this time it was stuck in the OFF position! 5 minutes of pressing this morning got it back on, don't know if I dare switch it off now!? Contacted Amazon again this morning so waiting for a response, hoping for a refund this time as I feel the issue is only going to happen again!!
Anyone else had this problem I wonder?????

I am delighted and I am enjoying my 46 inch screen TV especially when Football is on.
