5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant= Brings Back The Memories.
Along with the Afrika Corps this set of soldiers represents the two main opponents in the North African and Italian Campaigns during WW2.

Back in the day I had endless fun squaring the 8th Army up against the Afrika Corps.

The two sets are evenly matched and this is the same for the 1/32 scale here.

The set makes 14 figures with a good set...

These were a good price but beware the paint and brushes needed really rack up.An eight year old's pocket money will never suffice.

The set makes 14 figures with a good set of poses- not as many as in the 1/72 scale true but these are bigger and easier to see the fabulous detail.

They paint well if you remember to trim the bits of spare plastic from the moulds and wash then to get rid of the grease.
A Base coat helps and attention to the colours recommended although expensive really does bring out their best.

Nostalgia?
Yes and cheap at 5 times the price.

These 8th army soldiers are very good quality. They are exciting to play with and have some good poses.
These are excellent counterparts to the German Afrika Corps.

Just as i wanted. The detail is pleasing, the range is acceptable and the price resonable. Four out of five.

I remember having these soldiers and many more from the Airfix range when I was a boy. Many years later my sons are enjoying the same toys. Good quality finish to the plastic.

I bought these for my 7 year old grandson and the hours spent away from technology and put into painting has been well worth it. I recommend it to everyone, boys and girls. Also teaching him the history of the wars involved in the soldiers he was painting is educational too.
