5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT TV, 1 Jan 2010
This review is from: Toshiba Regza 37AV635DB 37-inch Widescreen HD Ready LCD TV with Freeview and Resolution + (Electronics)
Great TV - bought for our front room - fills the space well and is a great looking product. All the main features; Resolution +, META Brain, Auto View etc.. combine to create an all-round great picture quality. Currently only played DVD's but the quality on these is great - can't wait to connect the HD player! Would recommend purchasing this TV to any of my family / friends. Did not buy it from Amazon though - much cheaper elsewhere.

Although this is a comparatively cheap TV - nevertheless it is a lot of tele' for the price. There is only a couple of things that I would want to take issue with.

When the picture setting is set to auto - the picture is a dull lifeless affair. Turn the setting to Dynamic and it becomes what it should be, a very bright and watchable picture.

There are times when one can see the picture pixilate when the TV is trying to keep up with a fast moving image. But I have seen this effect on more expensive TV's

Other than these two points I have no quarrel with it, it is after all just a TV. If my life was devoted to watching TV, then perhaps I would look for a more expensive up market set. But as I just watch an hour or two here and there, this will do me at least for the next 16 years. Well that's how long my last Toshiba lasted.
