5.0 out of 5 stars Musketeer Doll
My daughter is 4 years old and loves this doll. The only problem with it is the sword - it broke within two minutes of playing with it!! We have wrapped selotape around the length of the sword now so it may last a little longer!! Apart from that it was a good buy.

2.0 out of 5 stars Cheap,cheap,cheap quality
My 6 year old daughter is thrilled with the musketeer Corinne doll mainly because of the DVD story and the heroic(?)things Corinne does there. As a result she doesn't mind the extremely cheap quality of the doll itself. Thanks to the other reviews i warned her in advance to take care of the sword but that isn't enough. The hair, the clothes, the plastic which the doll is made...

This doll was an Eid present for the daughter ,she loves it .The plastic sword which come with it snaps easily,My daughters broke as she was opening the package and she was careful as I was helping her,it would be nice if it just bent a bit as it is an expensive doll.Overall daughter likes it,and loves playing with it.

2.0 out of 5 stars A fragile toy, 25 Dec 2009

As with my other Barbie toy review, this was opened on Christmas Day by my 8 year old daughter, who had been asking for it for ages. The anticipation was immense, which doesn't really help...
She attempted to extricate the doll from its wiring and elasticated bits of plastic on her own. This took a while. Then she handed it to me, wondering what to do with the tiara. Oh. 'It's meant to be attached to that pink stick coming out of her head,' I told her. 'Did you break it off by accident?' 'I think I might have,' she said a little sadly. This tiara is meant to slide up and down to be either a tiara or mask. You're not supposed to take it off. We pushed the stick into her head and decided to forget about the 'crown and mask' as it was clearly unmendable. Seconds later, my 6 year old had a go and broke the sword. All in the space of an hour in its life with us.
The cloak works! You take it off manually and place it around the doll's shoulders, then take it off and wind it round her waist.
Ah! The good old days... I remember getting Pippa dolls which broke within minutes on Christmas Day... Sigh...

Great value barbie doll - exactly what my niece aged 4 wanted. Free P&P made this an even better deal.

Corinne is a cute buy, the doll really helped teach my sis to stand up for herself. Good job!

Another thing, if the doll persuades your kid to be violent, take it away from her as soon as possible.

I bought this for my daughters 5th birthday on behalf of my 3 year old daughter. They both love watching 'Barbie and the Three Musketeers' film and so this doll was a good choice.
I was a bit concerned about the sword after reading several other reviews, but hoped they were exagerating... but they weren't. The sword broke in less than an hour...
However the actual doll and outfit are fine and are one of the favourite birthday presents received.
(To be honest you might as well throw the sword away, rather than giving it to your child, who will only get upset as soon as it breaks!)

4.0 out of 5 stars Corinne Doll, 21 April 2010

My daughter is well pleased with the doll. The multi-purpose cape/skirt is a clever touch. The flimsy sword didn't stand a chance in the hands of my three year old son - bent and snapped in a few seconds flat. Beware Girls... don't let your little brothers near your stuff!

I bought this for my niece and was told with a week the sword had broke in two.
I'm no expert, but you'd presume that a certain amount of testing is required for toys for young children?
Mattel, please step up!
