I bought this for my sons 4th birthday as he is obssessed with Postman Pat SDS. He really likes it and wants to play it every day.
The game doesn't seem to have many instructions, for instance how to unlock the creative centre, and as yet we haven't managed to do this, but the individual mini games are good fun for him and very suitable for his age and ability.
My 6 year old has also been playing it, and the novelty hasn't worn off yet. But the scope for his age is limiting I would think.

I bought this for my 2 year old daughter who loves Postman Pat. She might be a bit too young for computer games like this, but she can maintain attention for at least one puzzle at a time. Thats why I really like this game. It is split into many small games that can be completed in a non-linear fashion. This provides the flexibility to dip in and out of the game and jump to any area at any time. The graphics are good, the audio is clear, and it has provided us hours of educational entertainment.

Bought this for my son who is nearly 5 and he loves it. Just right for little ones who are in reception or year one, as it develops their cognitive and mouse skills. His brother, who is 7, thinks it is great fun too.

I bought this CD Rom for our playgroup children to practice their mouse control - they like it as it is Postman Pat, but the subject matter such as adding 60 and 30 and putting it in correct box, within a time window of about 2 seconds, is way too hard for anyone under 6 unless they are a mathematical genius! Would not recommend for the 3-6 age group listed....shame!

Despite its claims of compatability this CDrom did not work on a Vista PC (tried on 2) so am unable to comment on quality of the games as had to send it back. Why is it so hard to purchase educational cd roms for pre-schoolers?

My almost 5 year old is just about to start school so needed some guidance with a few aspects of this game - namely the capital letters - but most games have clear instructions given by a reassuring Pat voice and slightly older children would have no problem at all with the letter names rather than sounds. My son found it quite easy to navigate between games too so spot on in that respect. I would give it a solid 3 and a half stars.

This was bought for my daughter who had just turned four. She loves Postman Pat on the TV and quickly got to grips with this CDROM. It's simple to use, very intuitive so I find her doing stuff she's discovered herself and interesting enough to hold her attention.

Not aggressive, as are lots of the games that young children play online. More of this popular character type needed.

My little boy has had a lot of fun with this. The letters are pronounced as an adult not as a child which I would criticise.
