4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good camera
This is a good camera and is pretty impressive for the money. You do need a memory card for it. (obviously the other reveiwer hasn't got one) It has some pretty cool features including face detection, varible exposure times, date stamping, several colour modes including black ond while, it has blur warning, burst mode etc It also has a share button that allows direct...

3.0 out of 5 stars Quite good
The Kodak C140 digital Camera is not a bad a camera, but then again it is not amazing. If you need to take pictures in dark conditions then the pictures can be a bit blurry and the flash can be too bright making the pictures at times. However, in this camera can produce good snaps when you are in good day light conditions. The camera also has a basic design and is easy to...

This is a good camera and is pretty impressive for the money. You do need a memory card for it. (obviously the other reveiwer hasn't got one) It has some pretty cool features including face detection, varible exposure times, date stamping, several colour modes including black ond while, it has blur warning, burst mode etc It also has a share button that allows direct upload of videos to you tube but I won't say much about this as I have never used it

It is nice and simple to use and has good quality pictures. I would recommend it. If you want a camera for less than £100 you can't go wrong with this one. I did take back a 10 mega pixal camera due to the lack of date stamping and got this one instead despite losing 1.8 megapixals this is a much better camera and I am much more impressed with it than the other one.

I would have given it 5 stars except it didn't come with a case but I don't think many cameras do come with a case these days.

I highly recommend this camera. I recently bought this for my mum for Christmas as she wanted something user friendly. Even my 6 year old nephew seemed to know what to do! I would highly recommend obtaining more memory tho, as it doesn't come with much but the camera itself is great value and a trusted brand. We're pleased with it.

The camera also has a basic design and is easy to use providing you have common sense. Furthermore, this can also record standard defintion. This is okay, but I believe that it could have even better with Kodak's years of experience in the market. However, the Youtube Upload alongside the camera software makes it an interesting proposition. So, in general for a basic, simple that has the ability to produce good videos and photos makes it one of the best budget cameras on the market today. However, you may want to look else where such as Canon who are expects at small, reasonably priced cameras.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice wee camera, 24 Jan 2010

This review is from: Kodak EasyShare C140 Digital Camera - Silver (Electronics)
I bought this as a cheap wee camera for travelling rather than lug my SLR around. Unlike the idiot above I bought a 2Gb card which gives about 1200 pictures worth of memory space.

Used it for a day out, took about 80 pictures - excellent. Only complaint was that it ran out of batteries after 80 pics and 5 hours however that was with the Kodak batteries it came with. I haven't tried it with decent batteries yet. It also doesn't have a viewfinder which I miss in bright sunlight. Apart from that good value for money.

3.0 out of 5 stars Would not recommend, 27 Feb 2010
This review is from: Kodak EasyShare C140 Digital Camera - Silver (Electronics)
The good stuff: it is a tidy camera and takes very good pictures, I really like it but I have a BIG BUT the batteries go very fast and dont last, if you were out for the evening they go within an hour of taking picturess ( I even bought rechargable and they still dont last long) its very frustrating, I wish I had bought one that is rechargeable. so think about this before you buy. Thanks for reading my views.

This camera has a tiny memory and can store 8 pictures before the memory is full, so not even worth taking on a day trip.
