This is the first Lego game I've played and I've been pleasantly surprised. At first it seems simple in its design, but as you play it you notice all the clever details in the backgrounds and characters. The three games stay very close to the plots of the films, using John Wiliams' great original music, and the cut-scenes are genuinely funny.
The main plus point is that this game is so addictive. You complete all the levels once in 'story' mode, but then get to go back as different characters - there is a vast array of main and supporting characters to collect - and uncover all kinds of secrets you couldn't access before.
As a big fan of more violent kill-everything games, I have to say it's nice to have a break and play a good-natured, blood-free platform game that's a lot of fun and just challenging enough to keep you coming back for more.
