I recently purchased the Jamie Oliver Kitchen Scales and I am delighted with the performance!
Having read the review regarding the LED light turning off in the middle of use, I have to disagree, this design feature is great. The LED light does turn off after around 5 secs if you do not add to the weight/mixture, but as soon as you add or take anything away it actually turns itself back on automatically.......Therefore it acts more like a screen saver and reduces battery wasteage!

I have found the performance of the scales impressive with the add and weigh functions, you can also choose between metric or imperial measurements.
The stainless steel bowl is really useful and fits over the base of the scales when not in use so I am able to fit them in my draw very easily.
Overall the scales feel good quality and I love the stylish Jamie Oliver designs.........Highly recommended!!!

These scales were a huge upgrade for me as I always used to traditional balancing scales but really wanted a change! These scales fit the role perfectly; they are so easy to use. Very easy to change between different measurements i.e. oz's or ml's, even my 8 year old can use them too! I love the fact you can also measure liquid as well as volume which saves on getting jugs out etc so less washing up, would highly recommend!

We are delighted with this lovely digital scale. We got it in December 2011. It performs excellent and offers so much flexibility in measurement functions, options, and capabilities. You can use this digital scale to measure dry as well as liquid ingredients in cooking and baking. It is even great to portion control what you eat throughout the day. The stainless steel bowl with a pouring lip is practical and convenient. We are very happy with this purchase. I would definitely recommend this product.

Easy to use and very compact. The light does go out quite quickly but it lights up again when additional ingredients are added, or by just touching it. Excellent product.

well worth every penny, ive never had a problem with any of jamies products as he always puts him name to good qaulity and great design.
when these arrived i was shocked at how small they were but dont be put off, the design is simple and clean, the bowl fits over the actual scales which means it takes up minimal space in my bulging cupboards.
they are simple to use and easy to add more and more ingredients to making baking easy peasy jamie squeezy.
you dont have to use the bowl they come with and can infact put any bowl or pan on top to weigh straight into meaning no lose of ingredients in the weighing bowl which is very handy for things such as syrup !
all in all i say if you love to bake BUY THESE
you cant get better than jamie

I wanted to upgrade from some standard traditional scales and looked at these and some Joseph Joseph scales. There didn't seem to be much difference between the two but I preferred the look of these and the reviews were good. They are very simple to use. Best feature is being able to measure fluids using the scales. Very easy to switch between grams and ml and has the ability to tare the scales when measuring a combination of items or using a jug for example on the scales. These scales seemed to have more ability to use a bowl/container/jug on top of them as oppose to the Joseph Joseph ones which I think were more curved on top. Nice looking and good quality.

I love these scales they are a brilliant invention. Can weigh dry and runny all in one place and space, how convenient is that? The light fades once you've put the items in the bowl but that makes sense to me to save battery power. I thought they would be all silver but the bottom is white, this is just due to the photo posted. Am over all very pleased with the design and how they work for me in my kitchen. Would highly recommend.

These scales are very light and compact with easy storage as the bowl inverts on top of the scales. They are very easy to use and clean and they look first class too.

Bought this item recently from Amazon and am delighted with it. It is extremely accurate and very compact. Couldn't rate it any higher!

Ordered and delivered in timely fashion. Very pleased with product, does exactly what it said it would. Love the fact that I can use either ounces or grams as many of my cook books still use ounces .. so find it very useful.
