Selecting right sceen size is very important, for me the 37 inch is perfect for my lounge.Picture quality and yes even sound is wonderful. Viewing even mundane programs becomes more enjoyable, silly things like surrounding decor become more visable and brings picture to life.Views of mountains, sea scapes are just so much better than ordinary screens and this is without useing the HD facility.

I can't fault this TV. The picture and overall quality is excellent and the sound damn near blew me away. The only thing is having forked out a lot of money on a quality TV I now have to suffer poor digital TV pictures following the switch over. Bring back analogue!

I bought this TV, from Amason, after initially purchasing a Toshiba,which also was very good, though after (7) seven months, the on off switch broke, yet! fair play to Amason, as there was no replacement available they kindly, gave my money back. I am more than impressed with this Sony TV, the picture quality speaks for itself, with an easier set up, switch it on, then let it get on with finding, the necessary channels, that's it, away you go. thoroughly recommended.

Bought the Sony Bravia 37" recently. Absolutely delighted with this product. The TV arrived within a few days of ordering, was very well packed. It was so easy to set up, only took a few minutes, just follow on screen instructions.
Its a delight to watch, such a clear picture with good colour, and to top it all came with a 3yr warranty, what more could you ask for

Product arrived on time,within a week there was problems with the sound,contacted sony who wanted to take tv away for roughly 3 weeks,Really glad i bought product through amazon who were excellent and arranged a new sony tv to be sent out the next day and the old one picked up.It is a good tv although don't think its in the same league as the panasonic's.I f you are buying one get it through amazon would be my advice

Brilliant product. Amazing picture and sound and so easy to use and set up. 10 mins from box to watching.

I bought this tv as I previously owned a 26" Sony Bravia which was excellent and I wanted one with a bigger screen for sports and games.

After a very easy set up, I found the picture quality to be great but was very disappointed with the sound which was not only generally underwhelming but also in particular at certain frequency levels - primarily outside broadcast interviews where microphones were being used - caused an intermittent low buzzing vibration sound.

I then spent 2 weeks trying lots of different sound settings as well as changing the HDMI cable from my Virgin + box to the tv set before deciding to spend another £100 on a Sharp sound bar.

Not only has this immediately solved the problem of the intermittent buzz but has provided an excellent overall sound quality to match the brilliant picture.

On picture quality this tv would be a definite 4 stars - maybe even 5 stars - but because of the poor sound I mark it down to only 3 stars.

Ok, so i've had this TV for around 6/7weeks now and have to say it's pretty good especially for the price. Although one thing I have noticed is Amazon have put the price of this TV up to £559.90. When I brought this it was £494 (It always pays to shop around), given the current climate and companies are complaining us consumers aren't buying as much when you do things like this are you surprised!!

Anyway back to the product review....

My main reasons for buying was I wanted a decent size TV for the lounge but also a decent make.
It had to be Full HD (for the Playstation 3 and Blueray mainly) but also because with the switch over coming I didn't want to leave anything to chance.

One surprise (and it's a good one) is that previously our TV which had freeview on would not pick up all the freeview channels (Had problems with Film 4 and sometimes ITV) due to low signal even though I had fitted a decent booster to the aerial (tried 3 different freeview boxes but still no joy), This TV however with it's built in freeview gets every channel without any problems and the signal strength practically never goes below high, but even when it does on medium the signal is fine.

My only 2 bug bears with this product are

1. When using the guide to see what's on it can be a little slow (when pressing info then using the blue button to go back) it drives my girlfriend mad but she's a bit impatient and it doesn't bother me too much

2. The sound. This is my only reason for not giving this product 5 stars.
I wasn't expecting fantastic cinema quality sound but even with all the bass turned down to 0 and the treble reduced it still echoes and sounds tinny. Be under no illusions if you're going to buy this TV then surround sound is a MUST otherwise your films and games will sound naff and just annoy you.

Very pleased with Sony. Delivered sooner than predicted but I wish I had been given exact delivery day so I could have been at home. Set performance excellent, easy to set-up. Very low power consumption in standby. Does not always recognise prescence of an HDMI device so have to select another input source and then back to HDMI1. Sound not that special but this is true of all LCD TVs. I use an external amplifier and speakers.

Wow,what a sleek and elegant tv. this is.Delivered the next day after ordering,great.Unpacked,and up and running after ten minutes.Easy,just put on auto tune,and away you go,sit back and enjoy the great picture and sound,adjust the settings to your choice.I bought this TV because I've always had Sony products,and wow, what a great buy,quality at it's best.Thank you Amazon,what a great price.
