My 18 month old loves this. She loves to sit herself in the middle and swish the pen around making marks. Big sis has one too (the classic one with numbers and letters), and they constantly bicker over who can draw on who's mat!! Easy to put away, wash, travel with. Just make sure you get some spare pens as with this one, you only get the one pen and the bike. The bike is cute, but it's the pens the kids want to draw with. Recommended.

I boutgh this for my 15 month old son who is crazy about In the Night Garden. He loves the Makka Pakka pen and looking at all the character pics on the mat and enjoys scribbling away. It is definately easier and cleaner than crayons and therefore a good idea for those who are worried about kids drawing on the walls. On the downside, the Og Pog is very leaky and when it leaks discoloured patches remain on the mat after drying ( this does not affect the use of the mat). However, I have found just running the surface under water allows it to be used for drawing without puddles of water leaking everywhere. I'd recommend it to parents of other ITNG fans.

I purchased this product for my Grandson who's nearly two years old. He loves it to bits and i don't have to get stressed because there's no ink etc involved, it works purely with water and only leaves a mark on the mat supplied. We teach him letters and numbers by writing them on the mat, he also loves the bike (sorry I.T.N.G fans i can't remember the official name lol) which leaves a trail behind it and also the star stamper is great, all the items are very robust, the mat also has hidden pictures that are uncovered when drawn over with the pen etc. As a typical Grandparent who spoils her Grandson far too much lol he has loads of toys but this is the first one he asks for when walking through our door, i can see this being a real favourite for a very long time. I cant recommend this product highly enough, buy it now.

I bought this for my two year old and i am very happy with the product. All you need to do is add some water to the makka pakka pen and the og pog roller and thats it. No mucky hands, no mucky clothes its brilliant. My daughter really enjoys herself as she can draw what she wants with the pen and make stars with the roller. It could do with some more pens and accesories but for the price its brilliant if you want some peace and quiet. Once they have finished drawing all you need to do is let the mat dry and remove any water from the pens and your done. Nice and simple and they love it.

I got this toy for my 16 months ols daughter and she loves it!!!It's great fun, no mess at all and she loves the Maka Paka pen! It is a very easy and simple toy so I would not recommend it for older children, I think that 16 months is the ideal age, considering that there is no colors involved, and not that many accessories. I would def buy it again!

I wouldn't get to excited about this toy, the little boy who I gave it wasn't impressed with it. He had to put a lot of pressure on it to make it work. Maybe, I got unlucky and got a slightly faulty one.

I really like this toy and so does my 2-year-old son, plus I bought it in a bargain price.Until I got this, our walls and my son's hands were his primary canvas. My books were in grave danger and were the ones to follow after my little one had drawn on all of his books with his-nevertheless washable-markers!This toy is a real life saver :)

I bought this for my then 19month daughter. Now she's nearly three but she still doesnt spend more than a few minutes on this eventhough she's a 'In the night garden' fan. Once she had slightly dirty feet and walked on the mat and I couldn't wash it off. Also, there were marks left where she had spilt a bit of water. Makka Pakka's bicycle doesn't close properly(after you've put water in) and its very difficult even for me to get the marks from the bicycle on to the mat. The pen also needs quite a bit of pressure to make a mark on the mat. My daughter gets bored after about 2 minutes of playing with this. Only plus point is it looks very colourful and bright and she did like looking at the characters!
