Gibsons Sweet Memories of the 1970's jigsaw puzzle. (1000 pieces)

Anyone at school in the 70s as I was will probably recognise the sweets on this puzzle; some are still available today like the ever present 'Mars', 'Kitkat' and Cadbury's Roses. But who remembers the short lived 'Laughs' or 'Monster Bars' (both Cadbury's)or even 'Amazin Raisin'? This puzzle showcases genuine sweet wrappers from that era which seems sooo not long ago. If you want a difficult puzzle, then this is not for you but if you enjoy knocking off a 'thousand piecer' in an afternoon and wallowing in sticky nostalgia, then I defy any puzzler not to achieve that goal. Great quality pieces too.

I bought this product for my Husband (and of course myself - ha ha). The quality of the puzzle is excellent although we found it very easy and completed it in one evening. This is the only reason I have rated this product so low. It got us reminiscing though ha ha. I will definately consider buying a puzzle with more detail next time.

Great puzzle, very nostalgic seeing all the old sweets & chocolates from my childhood, would recommend.

This proved to be a great Christmas gift for my partner, who remembers nearly all of the sweets shown. We had great fun, not only doing the jigsaw, but wallowing in "sweet" nostalgia! (I also bought the one of "sixties" sweets for my friend, 'cos he's a bit older than me!)

We had tons of fun, remembering all the different sweeties and finding some that nobody could remember too! Great fun.

This jigsaw reminded my partner of his younger years and he could not wait to get started. It arrived a couple of days after ordering so the delivery was superb. My partner soon set to in making a start on the jigsaw....he after a few days he had completed it all but one piece which was missing :-( he was very disappointed but we know he had not lost the piece. He got on to Gibsons the manufacturers and they sent him an envelope which he sent back a couple of pieces of the jigsaw and the number on the box, by return of post he received a very apologetic letter from them saying that they were sorry for the inconvience but to keep the box and in the next 28 days he will receive another complete jigsaw in a bag.
So what a brilliant company,...Would I use them again YES YES YES customer services they were brilliant.

Although i wasnt even born in the 1970s i really enjoyed this puzzle. the pieces are a good size, and durable. the colours and picture itself are very good. there arent any large dark areas. i found it enjoyable rather than challenging. i would definitely recommend doing this puzzle while eating some confectionary too!

Absolutely top fun for all the family. My husband and I loved sharing our sweet memories whilst we completed the puzzle. The kids enjoyed learning about the sweets we had as a child of the 70's and were enthralled by the fact that many of the brands had not really changed much in terms of packaging and how some had completely disappeared!

The jigsaw looks a million times better than you'd imagine. Lots of fun and nostalgia-filled, totally different to your average picture-style jigsaw as this is more of a collage (therefore harder!), just a brilliant jigsaw for any 70's sweet fan or just any jigsaw lover really!

Great fun looking back at sweets and wrappers from our childhood days! Brought back lots of memories! Great price! Great puzzle! One to get everyone involved in!
