A NON-ACTIVE extension cable - not a repeater cable, 8 Jun 2010
This review is from: 5m Gold USB 2.0 repeater extension cable male to female cable lead for printer, External HDD, PS3, wii, humax freesat hd pvr and any other device supporting USB.
This is not an ACTIVE repeater cable but a simple (expensive) extension cable. It is incapable of repeating the attenuated signal as it has no electronic amplifier.
If more than one of these cables is connected in series it won't work.
If you need a lengthy connection from your computer - in my case to a remote camera - give this one a miss.
