Good overall. Keys seemed quieter in store. Volume never worked.

It's fine. I've had mine a while now. Easy to type on. Keys where they should be. Great value with mouse package on Amazon. I hoped as described and when tried in a store, that keys would stay quieter than my previous MS Multimedia keyboard. They only stayed quiet for a while, though still not as clacky (?)as most. Biggest issue though is the Volume up / down buttons never responded; only the mute button which brings up the screen volume slider. Re-installed a few times and fully deleted all files from other keyboards to no avail. Maybe it's just on my XP. Could do with more media keys also, but I knew what I was buying. If you like the size, layout, look and feel it should be fine. Why don't Microsoft keyboards work fully on Windows PC's though. Baffles me!
UPDATE: Sept '13 - Finally got a new Windows 7 PC and all the media keys now work as they should. Installed itself and W7 found the drivers. I will only change it on a whim. I had completely re-installed XP on my old PC so it might have been an issue with the old hardware. This still feels as new after a year (OK I'm not a quick t -/#'yp''.is;'[#',<t!). Recommended!
