Helios' first album Unomia is a breathtaking masterpiece of dreamlike ambient music whose real beauty lies in its unique sense of a dramatic, tragic tension.
Unfortunately, his second album Eingya, whilst still exceptional, moves away from this into more positive, optimistic pastures; and at times it all just seems a bit too 'nice'.
This third album, however, is something completely different. Over-the-top 'beautiful' singing accompanies over-the-top 'beautiful' crescendos of happy, melting noise-scapes. Basically it's Sigur Ros (albeit much better), so if you like that then fine, but if like me it makes you nauseous the steer well clear!
