5.0 out of 5 stars Obscure and superb New York Drumm and Bass, 21 Jan. 2002
By A Customer
This is well worth the money, get it on vinyl if you can as there are some superb remixes. You enter the record with a bang on the "Big bass boom". It is a jerky New York drumm and bass number with little hints of a doctor who track in there!
It slides nicly into "happily" which is different, much smoother.
You will then be compeled to bounce around to "socialism"!
The best tracks are "This is war" and "The journy part one and two". They blend in seemlesly, are seriously serious and funky to boot.
There is the nice Gia track to keep you on your toes...
The suprise track is "cheap thrillz' with samples from the film scum... Ouch! "where's your tool?" its a fab one!
IF you like D and B but would like a little something of the beaten track then get this. If you like the ancient Bassomatic, Roni size, Tricky or something to go mad with then chill - get this.
