This is a an excellent album by the band that should have been massive. Harder and darker than their earlier albums but no less enjoyable. Production isn't as crisp as before but it adds to mood created by these powerful sometimes menacing songs. Rock music is littered with bands that could have been hugely successful and these guys definitely fall into that category. How Muse succeeded and conquered the world while these guys floundered in relative obscurity is a bit of a mystery to me. Buy all their albums...and listen to a great band that should have been huge.

An amazing band full of menace and power.

Championed by no less than Mr Bowie, he got them a spot on one his gigs , a massive affair by all accounts.

You would have thought the future would have been sealed but no ,nothing nada.!

Critics raved about the first album , fans loved them live but no sales so obscurity beckoned .

Treat yourself and listen to all three, don't listen to this first you'll be a bit confused.

This is a culmination of a band growing, exploring trying out new ideas , venturing somewhere else .

It is quite brilliant don't get me wrong , they are totally original in every way , just save this one until the others have been digested.

with the amount of dross being released lately this is not that bad.

Admittedly, it's not as good as their previous albums but we still have something that is well crafted, well produced - recognizing genuine talent.

It wont change your world but it will make you nod your head and tap your feet - enough said

Too one paced for me, for sure there are some good ideas on here but as my title suggests, this is a relentless barrage of noise with few real "tunes". Wall era Pink Floyd infuse a few of the tracks and Low period Bowie as well but on the whole I have to be disappointed with a band who started out so well.

For those expecting a move onwards and upwards from 10 Silver Drops this will be a disappointment. It's almost as if the creativity well that promised so much has run dry. The heavy, driving rhythms that characterised the earlier albums are still present but they are recognisable in that the listener thinks 'I've heard that before and this is just a re-work'. While the band is much hyped as a Zep/Floyd blend the reality is that this album is a retrograde experience. It's a bit like Floyd releasing Atom Heart Mother after Dark Side or Led Zep 2 after 4. If there's to be another album from these guys they need to raise their game, not just the noise levels. I can't help but feel that their producer on this album has done them no favours. Time for some fresh inspiration guys.

Another classic from one of the most underated bands I have heard. I havn't heard a bad album by these guys and wish them the success they deserve.
