Another fantastic album by one of the leading producers in hiphop,Madlib has made some serious noise in the last 4 years and again he delivers at a high standerd. This album is dedicated to the late great J Dilla and madlib did him proud, the album takes you on a journey through classic soul samples and bangin beats,if you like "donuts"by J then you'll love this, easily a 5star album madlib does it again

Madlib is quickly becoming my favourite producer with releases like this. The whole album is fantastic. From the more somber beats like "J's Day Theme" and "Do You Know" to the harder ones like "The Electric Zone" and "Get Dollaz" it's always pure quality. While I've been a fan of earlier editions of Beat Konducta as well, this is the one to get if you're new to Madlib or instumental hip hop. Tracks like "Sacrifice", "Anthenagain" and "So much" are some of the most beatiful tracks ever of any genre. A classic album and tribute to the late J Dilla.

Another set of great instrumentals from Madlib. There isn't much to say about it, this album is just really good. Maybe a bit more 'hardcore' than Vol 3-4, but still perfecr for chillin', when you're learning, reading or having discussions with your family, friends etc.

The album is quest through different sounds and vibes, top caliber production which would be expected from Madlid and reminiscent of the great late J Dilla, a perfet ode to Detroit's finest.
Go get it.
