4.0 out of 5 stars Country meets Reggae meets Rock.
How does Willie Nelson keep going: almost 70 and still producing excellent music. Guest artists include Sheryl Crow, Ray Price, Emmylou Harris, Aaron Neville, Rob Thomas and a host of others from a range of genres. The album kicks off with Willie's regular concert opener "Whiskey River", then leads into a selection of songs showcasing both his songwriting and interpretative talents.
This may not be the most essential Willie Nelson album, but it is far better than most of the product that comes out of the Nashville conveyor belt, and it sounds like all the artists are having a great time.

Excellent. The other artists on this CD really compliment Willie Nelson.
It is nice to hear classic songs with a twist.
