5.0 out of 5 stars to whom it may concern, 5 Mar 2010
This review is from: To Whom It May Concern (Audio CD)
what a classic album - this is a definite for all you musical time travellers wanting to re-live some real dance classics - remember "Riding on a Train", "Tribute"? - absolute brilliance - get this instead of one of todays mediocre "classics" which will only seem dated in 6 months...

4.0 out of 5 stars An Above Average debut from the Annals of British Soul, 20 Aug 2014
By
This review is from: To Whom It May Concern (Audio CD)
The late 80s/early 90s proved to be a great time for British soul acts led by pop crossover, Mick Hucknall & Simply Red, Lisa Stansfield, Mica Paris and the Manchester quintet, The Pasadenas. "Tribute (Right On") was a hit on both sides of the Atlantic celebrating or rather paying homage to The Supremes through Aretha Franklin. That was a perfect launch to a fairly decent debut. Bottom line is these guys could sing and harmonize.
Nothing was quite as captivating as "Tribute", but, "Living in the Footsteps", "Enchanted Lady" and others propelled their debut to the #3 peak on the album chart.
Later on, with two stunning covers of the well tred "Make it With You" and Bob Marley's "Waiting in Vain" would cement their short lived but important contributions to music from South of the River in Brixton.
