I bought the cable as the one that came with the pre-owned GameCube i bought was old and broken, however as i turned the system on with excitment i was greeted with a very washed out representation of what i should be seeing.
Heaven forbid you have to play a snowy-level on a game, you will not be able to see anything as the brightness and glare from the white snow will fill the screen. After playing with the TV settings i managed to get a 'playable' result but every time i reach a game or level with a bright environment its gg and time to find a new game or power off.
Does the job, poorly. You will be able to play your Nintendo system until you finally lose self control and become frustrated as you cannot see what's going on. The cable also feels to made of a cheap plastic and i'm guessing will not last too long anyways so bare that in mind.
Spend the few extra pennies and just go for the official Nintendo AV cable, if so then none of the problems should occur and you can relive happy gamin memories once again!
