5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!, 29 May 2010
This review is from: Renaissance: The Masters Series - Satoshi Tomiie (Audio CD)
I had high hopes for this 'episode' of the renowned series, as Hernan Cattaneo's had a lot to live up to, but this doesn't disappoint. Anyone into Renaissance is going to LOVE this! It always has people asking 'what is this' or you see them sneak over to the stereo! Dancey, trancey, deep - perfect!!

Good mix this.

Had never heard any of Satoshi's mixes before but this has ignited an interest in any of his other work for me.

Nice techy beats without being to hard edged and managing to stay melodic.

Pleased i took a chance with this one as it's turned out to be a great piece of music.

Impressed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Yet another great Renaissance compilathion from Satoshi Tomiie, 12 Nov 2008
This review is from: Renaissance: The Masters Series - Satoshi Tomiie (Audio CD)
Yes I think it's fare to say that this new Masters series CD from Satoshi Tomiie has done it for me once again. CD one for me was my favourite listen, kicking off with Shur-I-Kan - Letting you down a great sounding house track that really gets you going from the start. Then taking you on a pleasant ride through sound with the likes of Federleicht-on the streets & Dave Brennan's drink deep 2008 & finishing off with the fantastic Dead souls from Mille Caro & Franck Garcia. I found both mixes a pleasant & fascinating listen & would go as far to say that this one from Satoshi Tomiie has got to be one of the best Renaissance compilations I have heard for a long time. A must-have for any Renaissance or house music lovers out there.

Along with the Balance series, the Renaissance Masters series are of a consistently excellent standard. I've been a fan of Satoshi Tomiie for a long time now because he has always impressed me. Whether its been watching him DJing live or listening to his Renaissance or Global Underground albums, he rips it! As you would expect from a legend such as Satoshi, this CD is pure quality. If you love your deep and tech house, this is an essential purchase.

Satoshi Tomiie has made two cd's of sheer quality. They are special. The collection of tracks are intwined with an intriguing listenable appeal. This is house music at its best. If you've got an ear for this kind of music these are the sounds to listen to.
