As the title suggests I got this for the kitchen for use purely as a TV.

Operation is easy with a great digital picture and as a package it looks good on the eye. The freeview programme guide loads quickly and it's easy to get programme info as well as switch between digital and analogue channels.

I gave it four stars as the stand is fixed (no tilt function) and sound is average - something I have found with most LCD TVs due to the lack of internal space.

The digital signal in the UK is still low power though so don't expect it to work with freeview unless you have a proper aerial.

Bought this as a second tv for watching DVDs and have been very pleased so far. The picture is sharp with natural colours given a decent source on the 720p HDMI input. On a quick test 1080i did not improve things. We also got excellent results using the SCART inputs and RGB from a Philips DVD player. Sound is ok but that is a limit of the chassis size. Have not had a chance to try the tuner side yet.

It is easy to set up with decent on-screen menus and a logical layout for the remote control. For what I paid I am very pleased and would buy again.

Bought for kitchen wall. Setting up and getting started couldn't be easier. Picture and sound quality is excellent. Styling is uncomplicated. Typical Sony build quality. You really can't go far wrong buying this tv. Ideal for a kitchen or bedroom.

Amazon came up trumps with both price and delivery. This 19" version of the larger one we already have is equally as good - perfect for the new installation of new system in our canal boat. I ordered this from Amazon on a Thursday evening and I received it on Saturday morning. Set up was easy and as a 2nd tv in the bedroom more than happy. Sound is excellent and picture bright and clear.
Only downside is that it is cheaper now!

So 'needed' a television for the bedroom. Don't ask why. Looked around Curries, liked the Bravia, right size not to heavy, good features, very expensive and not in stock, same at the Sony Centre. Plan 'B' look on the net, Amazon first stop. Very good price, about £70 under anybody on the high street, in stock and free delivery.
Delivered and installed four days later. Set up a doddle (once I put in the cabling), just read the instructions and press the buttons, even sorted them into logical order, BBC1, 2, ITV1, Channel 4, Five and the rest. Amazing picture, good features and Freeview. In our area an enormous bonus (according to the BBC [who should know] not liable until 2012). Hung on the wall, Sunday lie in's will never be the same, a really good piece of kit. There may be cheaper out there but maybe not better. Next planned buy an upscalable DVD.

Sony Bravia TVs are very good quality and this is a great 2nd TV for the bedroom and was a very reasonable price. The picture and sound are both very good and it is also light and easy to carry around.

The delivery was excellent and it arrived at the door within 2 days of placing the order. They even rang up to confirm that someone would be there to collect it.

Yet again Sony produce a fantastic television and at the right price.
Delivery was fantastically quick and TV took minutes to set up and use.

As always, prompt delivery by Amazon. Simple to install and tune. Great picture. Unlike our set top box, the built in digital set up does not crash which is wonderful. Father in law has a larger Bravia which he also loves. Would recommend to others and buy Sony again.

First Sony TV and i'm very happy with it, purchased for kitchen use. Picture and sound very good quality, would recommend.
