An excellent album. Southern rock at its best. One of their later albums and so less raw than Tomcattin or Strikes but every song rocks! I love this. Buy it and dont miss out.

Although this is a bit more mainstream than the earlier albums I absolutely love it! They played around with synthesizers, so what? The end result still rocks and Medlocke is at his best. Buy this!

4.0 out of 5 stars has aged and matured like a fine wine, 11 April 2014

i bought SIOGO when it was first released and was slightly disappointed as it was not as raw as maurder. the addition of ken Hensley on keyboards added to the blackfoot sound. There are some strong tracks such as the opener Send me an angel, followed by crossfire. Drivin fool , white mans land and sail away are classic Blackfoot, teenage idol should have been a hit. this album should have lifted Blackfoot to mainstream respectabilty but record company politics got in the way. Give it a listen, it is a real grower. if Blackfoot had carried on in this vein with solid basic production and more hammond organ a la Uriah Heep the results would have been very interesting, instead Charlie Haggret quit, 80's production and synthesizers were introduced and the results are to be found on Vertical Smiles. it isnt great ! some good songs with dreadful production,
