The NAVIGON 7210 arrived promptly from Germany (quicker than some first class letters!) and was immaculate, as described. Unfortunately, the car charger cable didn't work, so I had to charge it from USB in the car and you can't use it to navigate when you're doing that. Avides Media AG, from whom I bought it, sent me a new cable without argument, which also arrived next day (and didn't require the old one back!). Then I tried to purchase the FreshMaps Update package for special price 19.95. The voucher CODE to enable this didn't work. NAVIGON have a U.K. helpline, so I rang them. Although helpful, they claimed that there were a LOT of code failures! With persistence, many frustrating interactions with "press one for this, two for that", and about £15 in cost of calls, I eventually got the code, just as I was about to return the thing under warranty; you have two weeks to do this, no reason necessary. It now works, but the mapping leaves much to be desired with recent road changes not updated, and no English male voice with TTS! I don't want to drive around with a Woman telling me where to go!! Its not slick like their website, and its not better than the Garmin Nuvi. The screen is soft and sometimes requires a second touch, and the hazard warning just says "BEWARE". Altogether not the best Nav unit I've used, but it is small, light, . . . . and has a nice little bag.
