I have been looking, for a while, for a means of connecting my XBox, PS3, SKY HD+ and Surround system and at first I messed around with the 'proper' (for proper read expensive) cables and converters for each device - I REALLY WISH I had seen this product first though!

3 HDMI cables in, 1 HDMI cable out. Bish, bash, bosh - sorted and it's totally automatic too so that whichever device I turn on suddenly appears in crystal clear, High Def on my plasma. Loverly. Don't waste your time and money on the £100+ switches when there really is NO NEED with this little beauty.

Highly recommended.

I've hooked my PS3, SKY HD and DVD up to this and it works perfectly with no loss of picture quality. It's hidden away with only the IR sensor on display.

I was torn between this product and another offering by Neet Neet 3 Port Mini HDMI AUTO SWITCH 3x1 (3 way input 1 output) but opted for this one because of the remote. I've hidden it away and have seen on other reviews that SKY HD does not always automatically switch back. I didn't want to have to keep fishing it out to manually change it if there was a problem. This is an ideal compromise and is just a few quid more. That said so far it has worked perfectly and I haven't needed the remote.

If you need to plug more HDMI equipment in than your TV has inputs for this is the perfect solution for you. It's at a great price (many manual switch boxes I looked at cost this much) and the service from Neet is excellent. Recommended

I bought this product having used all 3 of my current hdmi sockets, i had my doubts being as it was so cheap and looking around and seeing similar products twice the price, i'm glad i did now it really is a great little product works perfectly with my toshiba 1080p tv, ive got my sky hd, ps3, xbox 360 an upscaling dvd player hooked up to it an it auto switches whenever you turn either device on which is nice because my tv doesnt do this i have to manually change sources via the remote control! it also comes with a small little remote of it's own if you do have to auto switch between sources, absolutely brilliant for the price and came next day delivery which was also free so a big thumbs up to neet from me!

got a sony lcd with 1 hdmi port and just had virgin v+ box fitted and got sony upscaling dvd player on hdmi so was unsure how to connect them both.
it took one email to neet and they advised me to go for the switch, and was at my door the next day.
the switch is perfect and leaves no quality loss at all, and tucks out the way behind my players with just the ir sensor showing.
just the job and very good advice from the boys to

Fantastic gizmo, much smaller than I'd expected. Despite having a power socket it is actually self powered, switches inputs automatically or via (tiny) remote control, Excellent, prompt delivery. Cannot fault on any grounds. 5/5.

I purchased this HDMI connector because there was only one HDMI socket on my T.V. and I wanted to connect a Freesat box and a Blue Ray dvd player. The connections made by the Freesat box installer resulted in very poor picture quality from the dvd player which frequently disappeared altogether. I was on the point of returning the dvd player on the basis that it was faulty. After reading the other reviews I purchased this connector which did exactly what the label on the packet said it would. I now receive crystal clear picture quality from both the freesat box and dvd player. The connector was sent on the day it was ordered and arrived the day after. I am very impressed with the quality of the product and the speed of delivery.

This is a brilliant little switch that does exactly what you expect - switch automatically between different HDMI sources as you turn them on and off. Can't fault it. I have mine connected to my DVD, XBOX360, PS3 and SKY+ then to my LCD TV at the other side of the room via a long HDMI cable. Very good switch.

The item was delivered fast and I was excited as you can be over small piece of black plastic.

The setup I was hoping to achieve with this item's help was supposed to be the following:

TV HDMI 1: Sky HD+

TV HDMI 2: Neet (with Xbox 360 & PS3 coming out of the Neet)

Positives:

Firstly it "works". You can switch at the push of the button between the 360 & PS3 and thus I'm no longer required to "mess" about behind the TV.

Negatives:

Xbox(mostly used for gaming) has a constant green frame around the display. Only an few mm in width but enough to be annoying.

PS3 (mostly used for Blu Ray) the black on the screen has a very visible interference which manifests itself in the form of white flecks in the darkest colours on the screen, but of course most noticeable in black sections of the screen.

Sum Up:

All in all, it's just too annoying to be used so relegated to the bottom of the wire draw for when the call of "can you come and make the TV work" becomes more of annoyance than having my gaming/filming interfered with. Only time will tell!

-----The above was originally a 2 Star review.------

NOW WITH UPDATE:

Now through some of the best customer service I've ever received (and clearly this is not a one off just look at the reviews on their customer service) I now have a working device. OK the long and short of it is yes, I have had to pay extra for better spec of HDMI cables, but that is it.

But to make sure I didn't pay a penny for something I wasn't entirely happy with; Neet sent me all available components at their cost to make sure I had the setup I was happy with. I sent back what I didn't need (they refunded the P&P), and I kept what I needed (now paid for).

I have a setup exactly the way I wanted it and working perfectly. At the total price for everything in I would have been happy to pay this to get the setup I was after. A now very happy customer.

Thanks Neet.

NOTE: There is a difference in HDMI cables now I'll know what to look out for in future.

-Cheaper HDMI cables will work with direct to TV (circa £3) .

-Better Quality Cables needed for more complex setups. (circa £8).

Of course check the specs of the HDMI cable yourself to make sure you get what you want and what you pay for.

I was concerned that a HDMI switch would not work with Apple TV having read many horror stories about how temperamental switches can be and how the Apple TV does not drop its signal which can cause problems. There was no need to worry because this switch just works like magic!
I bought this model because it has a remote in case the automatic switching did not work and also bought the 5v POWER SUPPLY For Neet® Switch - Neet® Lifetime warrantyin case that was needed, but it turns out that I didn't need either - everything just works like a charm.
It comes with good instructions explaining how to deal with problematic devices etc. I connected the Apple TV to input 1 following this advice, and a DVD player to input 2 and it works exactly as I want - the DVD player overrides the Apple TV if both devices are on, and the right device works if just one is on. I have tried this out with 2 different TVs (a Sony and Philips). Everything works as well as if they were on 2 different ports. I got this for my mum in her 60s and am confident that it will keep working without issue and she can just use her DVD and Apple TV without knowing anything about a switch.
Just remember that you will need an extra HDMI cable when using the switch i.e. a cable for each device and then a cable from the TV to the switch. This sounds obvious I know, but I forgot until I had everything in front of me to set up and was a cable short :)
