A good looking combo watch
on 27 May 2010
Watches can sometimes look quite different from the Ad pictures, so I am please to find this one looks even better in flesh than on the webpage. The dial has a subtle metallic sheen, setting it apart from the black casing, which feels sufficiently tough. Beware the whole thing is rather thick, but it does offer something good, in that the face is in a recess, so is protected by the raised outer rim. The lack of a second digital time is a shortcoming but, being a combo, one can always use the digital for the second time zone when travelling, keeping the analogue for home time zone, or vice versa.
It's not cheap for what it is, more than the equivalent Casio. But I always want combos with the seconds hand which rules out all the G-Shocks and all Tissot, even if I can afford. So choice is limited. Plus this one looks really good, and easier to use than a Timex I once own.
