I owned one for about two years and the switch packed up. Igot in touch with the manufacturer who replaced without a receipt as they offer a ifetime warranty. Very impressed, a great torch and even though it's pricey, I'd buy it again if I lost mine.

It is hard to believe that a torch this size can be so bright. As a dog owner in the dark winter nights it is invaluable. Compared to other torches it is very neat, easy to carry in your pocket but above all the intensity of the light is incredible. It may be relatively expensive compared to other options but this is certainly the best I have seen. Thoroughly recommended.

I already own two torches by LED Lenser, I wanted a small torch that would fit easily into a pocket. I was amazed at the output of this little torch ! Amazon state an output of 59 lumens for this torch, but in the specifications in the box it states 105 lumens. I can certainly believe this, it is exceptionally bright for its size, significantly brighter than my Petzl MYO RXP head torch which claims 140 lumens ! All this plus an easily adjustable beam and Lenser's outstanding design and build quality (makes a mini maglite look crude!) A wonderful product!

This is the third LED Lenser torch that I have purchased. They have all been superb. Very Bright, Very Reliable, Very Light.

Generally delighted with this buy. I've found it indispensable for looking into dark nooks and crannies as well as out walking. We have no street lights and its a godsend at this time of year even if I'm only putting the rubbish out. The flood to spot focus adjustment is a sweet and positive slide action of the front lamp assembly.

One reservation however is the position of the on/off switch at the rear of the torch. You're faced with two choices; either you hold the torch like a dagger so that you can operate the on/off switch with your thumb but then have to use your other hand to change the focus, or you hold it in a more conventional way so as to operate the focus more readily but can't then turn it on or off without changing grip or again using your other hand.

My previous LED Lenser also had this arrangement and the switch failed on me, thus the reason for this purchase. Given that, you could argue that I'm on a very shallow learning curve, but the fact is, this is such a great, compact, bright, smart and well-engineered little torch, I'll forgive it almost anything.

My second lenser, and there is just two words to describe this - THE BEST!!!! Great value for money too!!!

For a single AA battery, you honestly cannot beat this thing, it's incredible. the focus is well implicated too, so you can tweak it so see far and get some surrounding too, very light, i use it for running at night, water proof (thus far) and just all round incredible,

Can not believe just how much light comes out of this compact little torch, ideal for walking the dog, It's the perfect size to fit in your pocket.
A special feature is the ability to alter the beam ie: narrow or wide by a simple
movement at the end of the torch.
Comes with a very good pouch which can attach to a belt.

Not cheap, but very good. High quality finish. You will very rarely need a torch brighter than this. Leds just keep getting brighter, but for now this is the one, with a great balance between size and power.

I already have the P7 LED Lenser and have been very impressed with it's build quality and function, so much so that I bought one for a friend as a birthday present. As a policeman he has found the torch to be immensely useful, and a number of colleagues now own them. I wanted something a bit smaller for the car and thought the P5 would be ideal.

I was right, more than could be expected. This is another exceptional torch with more than enough output for most situations and built like the preverbial out-house. So much so that I have now bought one for my mother as a "general" torch.

From now on I think that if I need a torch it'll be an LED Lenser. So long MagLite, there's a new king on the throne. :-)
