5.0 out of 5 stars superb keyboard for the price
I was looking at various keyboards with wireless facility as I like to control my media centre in the lounge from my couch. This one fitted the bill exactly. The range on the wireless was more than adequate and the keys felt good. If your used to using a mouse then the touchpad may take some getting use to but for quick navigating and selecting its much easier. Highly...

Highly recommended, as most other wireless keyboards were coming in at over the thirty quid mark with delivery on top.

Arrived a few days after ordering, plugged the dongle into my Windows 8 laptop and in minutes it was fully operational with latest drivers automatically loaded. Even sweeter was plugging the dongle into an OTG cable on my Xoom with Android 4.1 and both keyboard and trackpad worked in seconds - even better just after that most of the multi-media buttons worked with android apps too!

1.0 out of 5 stars Almost useless, 17 Aug 2012

This review is from: Wireless Keyboard 2.4Ghz HTPC Media Touchpad with Integrated Numberpad and Smart Fingers Zoom/Program Switch Functions - USB UK Layout (Electronics)
I bought this keyboard to use with the media center PC in my living room, attracted mainly by the inclusion of the media control buttons and the built in track pad.

I've been hugely dissapointed with this keyboard, and had my partner not already recycled the packaging before I had even plugged it in I would have sent it straight back to Amazon. They keyboard requires some serious prodding to notice that a key has been pressed. Fast typing is not possible, even typing a web address will require some correction due to some key presses that are not recognised.

The media buttons are good and work fine. The trackpad works most of the time, but the two finger gesture to scroll rarely works.

All in all I wish I still had the package so that I could send it back.

4.0 out of 5 stars not bad, 30 Mar 2011
This review is from: Wireless Keyboard 2.4Ghz HTPC Media Touchpad with Integrated Numberpad and Smart Fingers Zoom/Program Switch Functions - USB UK Layout (Electronics)
First thing to say is that this is a very good keyboard, it does its job well, but there are some considerations to make:

1. It seems a bit flimsy, i.e. the plastic feels a bit thin and it is very light. also it doesn't have a nice positive 'key press feel'.
2. The layout isn't quite standard, so i keep hitting the caps lock and missing enter, but im sure i will get used to that,. on a simalar note, as it is on the bottom of the keypad, next to the cursors i can never find delete!
3. The touch-pad sometimes feels a little unresponsive.

all of this in consideration, as it does work well, and have lots of very useful features, i would recommend it, but you should know of its shortcomings before you buy. if you can afford to spend a £5er more you would probably get a better product without the downfalls.

Simple unit that provides the ability to have a wireless keyboard and mouse in the same unit.

Great feature is the ability to use the trackpad as a number pad also by simply clicking a button. There are some common hot keys just above the track pad as you would expect.

NOTE: not everyone will feel comfortable using the trackpad. This is ideally suited to those who have a preference for using trackpads on laptops.

I use this for administering my server and works fine as a plug and play unit. No need to install any drivers but may be useful for home use ( with windows 7) if want to use the additional trackpad features like scrolling, zooming etc.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good with a few annoyances, 8 April 2013
Amazon Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Wireless Keyboard 2.4Ghz HTPC Media Touchpad with Integrated Numberpad and Smart Fingers Zoom/Program Switch Functions - USB UK Layout (Electronics)
My setup consists of a desk with a monitor behind a sofa (PC raised to hip height beside the desk) and there is a projector that is viewed from the sofa and desk. i bought the keyboard just for when I'm sat at the sofa with friends watching films/surfing the web/ relaxing and the keyboard does the job perfectly apart from a few small things.

The signal only reaches around 2M and anything between 1.5M and 2M may miss a few key entry's

For some reason when its on windows 8 the gestures don't work I have searched for quite a while for a driver to fix the problem with no luck.

Defiantly worth the price if you dont mind about the small issues.

I've had worse keyboards than this, but I've also had better! this keyboard struggles to stay connected or maintain a good connection, it only good for multi media in the living room.

I have used this keyboard for a while know and found that it loses wireless connection frequently it also displays the wrong alphanumeric, the touch pad does not do all that it supposes to do all the time for the price you pay I would not recommend it. A couple of days ago the key pad stopped working altogether so I had to go and buy another wireless keyboard this time logitic what a difference everything behaves positively, it is not a touch pad just a mouse and keyboard.
