The low price of this product is a reflection of the super-cheapo build quality of this product. Nevertheless, if your expectations are reasonable you will not be disapointed.

The instructions are virtually non-existent, but they do say "don't squeeze the outer mesh so it touches the live inner mesh" - which was the first thing I did.... and I can tell you this is no toy! In fact, everyone should do the same, because it will make you treat it with respect! Keep it away from your kids.

It does not tell you how to best nuke flying insects with it, so I will - trap them against the window or wall; they all seem to think "uh, just crawl thru the mesh to get out..." and then FRAZZZZ. You only need to hold the button down to charge up, but if you keep holding as a large fly makes a circuit you can expect to see smoke - great, if shameful, fun !!

If you don't get a kill, the device remains charged for some time - beware!

I wouldn't be suprised if they make this in same factory as the Taser - get one and deliver some justice to those pesky flies!

I've seen these at a much higher price so I was expecting something cheap and cheerful; it was certainly cheap and works fine, finishing off flies with a satisfying blue crackle. It zapped a big spider too, but obviously the charge isn't as strong as all that - the spider was knocked groggy and staggered around like a drunken boxer until I put him out of his misery. Not tried in on wasps - since we bought the thing. flies and wasps seem to have kept out of our house!! Certainly worth the money.

Bought this for someone else after we were given one and decided they were fun! There are lots of different models - the battery cover is quite difficult to get off this one (ours is a lot easier) but as battery rarely needs changing it isn't too important.

Absolutely useless. After inserting batteries the first one I tried didn't work at all. The other one had a broken wire and short-circuited. I would have returned them to the seller but, unfortunately,I'd disposed of the packaging and this was a pre-requisite for returning goods. Would have cost too much to return anyway!

THIS PRODUCT QUITE FLIMSY, HANDLE BROKE THE FIRST TIME USED WHERE BATTERIES ARE STORED, MANAGED TO FIX IT WITH SUPER GLUE, BUT WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT

I bought this product as a Christmas Present. When it was opened it didnt work. I have contacted Amazon numerous times but they havent bothered to reply. Its a total rip off, a load of rubbish and a waste of money. I wont deal with Amazon again. They dont know the meaning of customer service. They take your money then dump you. Beware!!

The protective mesh is a little small for my liking, wasps won't fit through, small flies and blue bottles will, and when they do, it certainly works.

Battery cover broke off straight away, but it is cheap so didn't really expect solid build quality.

I am really pleased with the fly zapper. I finally have a fly free house, and its so easy to use..

the price reflects the build quality. i bought as an experiment as i bought a very good zapper, at a similar cost, in Spain that looked similar . ALAS THIS IS NOT THE SAME PRODUCT.

i could not make this work despite changing batteries and disassembling to check for broken wiring. unlike better products there is no light to indicate if the zapper has charged the screen.

Have had no success at killing any bugs,flies etc. The button seems to be stuck in and when I first operated it the
indicater light showed up green instead of red as per instructions. As it is only cheap product I will take it apart
to see if I can get it to work
