As a historic insight into attitudes to witchcraft in the 17th Century I found it very useful. It goes a long way to explaining the reasons for the terrible witch hunts of that period which resulted in deaths of so many innocent people. It gives a good view of the attitudes of King James 1 and Vl - useful in any study of the disastrous Stuart dynasty which resulted in tyrrany, civil war, the deposition of two kings and the execution of one of them.

Simple typed version of King James' book. Some of the words are misspelled, and it is obvious that it was not read before being published. But the information is there.

This is the second of the books to have caused ' The Burning times' everyone should read it, and learn about the Stupidity of one man.. The King of both Scotland and England ( they weren't united at that time) but both listened to him
