PSP & slim battery service tool. Convert normal to Pandora battery at the flick of a switch

This product does't do much but what it does do is brilliant no hassle with any other battery..

This will not work on PSP-3000 batteries as Sony has made these un-hackable. The same goes for the latest PSP-2000 batteries made after mid-2008.
It works great on older PSP-2000 batteries and all the PSP-1000 batteries!
If you get stuck buy a Datel battery and convert that :)

Very easy to use. Just put your normal battery and press the button and wallah! you have a pandora battery(or tool battery, whichever do you prefer to call it). However, this will not work on Japan made batteries. I tried to use my original(made in japan) battery and it didn't even light up. But worry not,it should work on China batteries (i.e. those "Made in China" ones) both phat and slim.

Great tool, very simple to use. If you can't or don't want to hard-mod your battery this is your answer. Just pop your psp battery into the device, press a button and it instantly converts your battery into Service mode. This, together with a magic memory stick makes your pandora battery. Once done, just switch it back.

Service tool works like a charm. Really easy to use. Just press a button to flip between service and normal battery mode. However, what isn't easy is creating the magic memory stick that you need to use this device. If you a re using Vista then currently you're out of luck. Some people get the memory stick creator sofwtware to work, some don't. I had to install XP on a different machine and create the magic memory stick there. Just be aware that you'll need a REAL memory stick PRO DUO (magicgate supported) and Windows XP to create the magic memory stick.

I used this product a long time ago for PSP1000 & PSP2000 series. (fat psp & slim).
I remember this being a excellent tool.
No need to open your battery and cut the circuit to turn it into a permanent pandora battery, it's just slide your battery in place, press the button, and you have a pandora battery, press the button again and your pattery is back to normal.

Absolutely excellent.

I must warn you to do your research before buying.
Some reviewers have stated it doesn't work with newer PSP's, I don't know if that's the case since I've sold my PSP a long time ago.

This tool is extremely easy to use, and saves a lot of hassle in making a Pandora battery. Simply insert your battery, flick the switch, do your business and then flick the battery back again. The instructions that came with the tool were easy to follow, and as long as you have the right battery (official Sony PSP-1000, most old PSP-2000 batteries)

Worked perfect with my original psp. Put the battery into it. It has 2 LED's on it to display if its in normal mode or pandora mode and you just press the button to swap between the two.

After recieving this today, I thought it would be an actualy Pandora Bettery. I was quite shocked to see this.. "thing", i thought it was a charger or something, but after reading the instructions, it does exactly what it says, turns your battery into a pandora and back, it is quite weird

I would've given this 5 but they're not perfect any more. I bought this with no regrets, and yes! A push of a button and u've a lil panda. My friend even bought a normal pandora battery and i managed to convert that to a normal battery and back with this thing!

...But beware, sony's new psp releases such as the new slim n lite 2000 and the 3000 have new mother boards and batteries, which prove this product absolutely useless - the batteries won't convert and even if they do these new psp releases don't respond to pandora batteries anyway. If u have a brand new psp, look into the 'chickhen r2' mod on youtube instead.

I would instantly recommend this product to either a psp fat (1000) user or anyone who knows for a fact that their psp has an old mother board.
