5.0 out of 5 stars 5 Stars For The Album Title!, 16 Oct 2007
By
Alan Burridge (Poole,, Dorset. United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
The track listing: Trouble Coming Every Day / Half Price Drinks /I Don't Want To Go This Way / I Want A Drink / Son Of A Millionaire / Zombie Line / Bela Lugosi / People Call You Crazy / Fast Eddie / Let Me In, Damn You / (I Know From) Self Destruction / Drunk In The Morning.
Well, if you're familiar with Mick Farren you'll know you've got quite an album here, his second 'solo' work (1978) after The Deviants initial split, (but they've been around forever, really), and it's still a corker today. With Larry Wallis on guitar (and Production), Andy Colquhoun on bass, Alan Powell on drums, and Chrissie Hynde (just before The Pretenders) and Curved Air's Sonja Kristina on backing vocals, and Will Stallybrass on harmonica; it's kind of an intimate Mick Farren / Pink Fairies-ish kind of album anyway, and well worth having in the collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Vampires Stole My Lunch Mick Farren, 10 Feb 2009

This review is from: VAMPIRES STOLE MYLUNCH MONEY (Audio CD)
Nice to see this old Album appear once again, this has some great artists not normally associated with Mick Farren ,Chrissy Hind being just one. With songs from Frank Zappa and Trouble Coming Everyday, this outing takes us into an array of tracks that stand proud against to-days music, with some bashing guitars from Wilko Johnson and Chrissy Hind all go to make this a fine album, and one well worth having for the collection
